Assignment 2: I did this part a bit different. I combined the use of different fonts with my vector cartooning class. The cartoon can be seen here.
I used a decorative font for the title, that was fun and playful since I wanted the audience to know this is only a toon! The font is called Paisley ICG 02. The word skydiving i choice a sans serif font with letterspacing because I wanted the word to be a design element and give the reader a feeling of falling, rather then just a word in itself. The other font is a sans serif that has a comical fun feel to it. I used different colors to set apart the groupings of information. All 3 fonts work well together because they all give a feeling of something fun and non-serious.
Assignment 3: :) I know we were suppose to take one of our past designs and redue it using what we learned this week about fonts. However..hehe..I really like all my first choices I made. I have this thing about fonts. I could have 3000 fonts and not have enough. I will spend hours to even days sometimes looking for a font that gives the perfect feel to something Im doing. I think most people choose a font because they like how it looks..but I choose fonts because of how they feel. That probably doesnt make much since to anybody but me..lol :) I did go over all my past designs to see if maybe I could have made better choices for fonts. But in all honestly, I think I did pretty good the first time. If I am wrong please tell me and I'll find something that will work better. (ducking, to avoided getting hit with the eraser)
