To me, the page is simple, easy to navigate at a glance. Its use of the rectangle shape along the top leads your eye from button to button and also to the stores title at the end of the rectangle.. The navigation buttons along the left side also create an invisible line effect that leads your eye down and also helps to create an edged area for the text message. The picture of the jams create the opposite edge for the text message. The buttons have a 3-dimensional appearence which adds texture and a little realistic drama. The oval shaped logo design that sits just above the top line help the over-all look of the page not be so squared in. I also perfer the look of a monochromatic color schemes. It just feels more coordinated to me. :)
