The sixth grade class is given challenging assignments and for the most part have completed them nicely.
They will learn to draw animals and draw the hair and shade them correctly. They will create projects of an old railroad station, shrimp boats and other paintings that involve the rules of perspective along with cast shadows and color mixing.
Other projects will include weaving, pottery and jewerly design.
These projects will also ease their way into visual art in the future years of school. |
