The Advanced Art students are required to complete at least six projects per semister. They are allowed to choose the type of project and the medium from a list that I put on the board. The subject matter is their own choice. A project is due every three weeks along with sketches and bellwork that is due weekly.
Their project choices are: abstract, western, landscape, people/portrait, holiday, transportation/buildings, fantasy, floral, bas relief, and animals. The meduim choices consist of: watercolor, pencil, pen & ink, chalk pastels, oil pastels, acrylic paint, tempra paint, and multi-media.
All projects are kept in a portfolio from the first time they take art from me until they decide not to take art from me again.
