| Surprised? Well, it's true enough. When I've free time I'm as likely to be deep into the nuts and bolts of one of my stories as I am to be doing anything else. It lets me relax, and hide from the frustration and pain of the day. Those who know me best recognize that there is a pattern to the ebb and flow of my scribblings. What? You expected me to tell you what it is? Well, get to know me first. That really is the simplest way, and maybe it'll help you think of me as a person rather than 'one of them'. In time, links will appear within this space that will take you to completed tales. At the moment, I have several works 'in progress' and no new pieces that I've finished. Suffice it to say, they'll be along soon. |

| There is an underlying theme or concept to
my works, one that may be a bit far off the
'beaten track' for some folks. A great many
of my interests are focused through a particular
'fetish'. (watches still more folks run off
screaming) Right. Now that they're gone,
I'll explain as best I can. Maybe we'll all
learn something new, yes? Among the fetish community lies ASFR. It's the short form of alt.sex.fetish.robots , a newsgroup available on most uncensored servers. "The [newsgroup] is dedicated to the concept of sex with or sexual attraction t of sex with or sexual attraction to robots and robot-like beings, such as people behaving like/turned into human mannequins or statues, mechanical dolls, wind-up toys, and other fantasies that involve the mechanical or monotone response that appeals to the members. " This is part of the intro page of the ASFR website, and the begining of an explanation of what exactly my 'thing' is. Inside the ASFR community is a subset who look for a different sort of automaton. They are less focused on the metal constructs, preferring instead to explore the concept of a 'living doll', a creature of flesh that performs like a robot. While it may only seem the heavy breathing of juvenile male fantasy, it seems to pull a reaction from -both- sides of the sexual and gender equation. Buried within that subset of ASFR is an entirely different type of individual. They read the messages posted in the boards and chatrooms, and then move off to their own spaces. Robots are discussed: roles, tasks, capabilites, design, social value, and so on. These quiet ones don't generally dream of possesing these exotic creations... they dream of -being- them. As a group, they are called 'dollers', for their desire to be the toy, robot, android girl, whatever. And there I belong. What's that? You think I'm a freak? Then I feel sad for you. Think back... if you've ever seen the movie 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'... doesn't that scene at the castle stand out in your mind? Or haven't you ever wondered, just once, what it must be like to spin gracefully atop a music box? Or seen someone 'impersonate' a mannequin and thought it was nifty. Tiny things like that are how most of us got here. Still don't understand? Well, thank you for trying. I honestly don't demand that everyone play my game; there are things that other folk are into that I either am not interested in or just plain don't understand. Tolerance is the path of happiness... there's plenty of room here for all of us, and the diversity that entails. Still with me, and trying to figure this out?
