Pg. 2 Oct. 99 300M pics

This pic shows one "mystery" scratch that is on the rear passenger door near the black trim work. I have no clue where it came from. The other spots there must be lint, but they were not visible to me until I saw this pic!

This pic shows the next scratch that is on the passenger side door frame just above the mirror.

This scratch is on the rear fender right in front of the gas door. It is not as visible as the others. Actually, all the scratches look worse in the pics then they do in person.

The scrape below on the left was there the day I picked up the car, but I thought it was done by the detailer and that I could get it off when I got home. WRONG! Now the scrape is getting longer as evidenced by the one on the right. When I pointed this out to the factory rep last April, he said that it was probably a result of the bumper "flexing" as I drove and the trunk hitting it or the trunk hitting there when I closed it. He wanted to raise the trunk. I thought it best to leave well enough alone because I did not want the trunk to start leaking. Actually, there is a gap between the bumper and the edge of the trunk even though it is not visible from the angle of this picture. The trunk and the bumper do NOT touch.
