Hi. Welcome to the site for My Chevy. It is a 1954 Chevy with a 383 cubic inch engine. I have alot of Fun with the car and drive it everywhere I go. In the next few pages. I have detailed some of the work that was done during its rebuild. The car is not a $20,000 show car, but is an excellent cruiser and street car. Make sure to click on the arrow at the bottom of the page to continue to the next page.. I am here local (Reno) so give a call and we'll talk cars. My # is 775 - 250- 4524 |

This is what we (Paul & Myself) started with.Everything was sanded and primed alot of times. We have worked on the Chevy over a 5 year period. All the rust was removed and most of the chrome also |

In all, I think there were 8 patch panels put in. Paul worked on cutting and I welded ,filled and primed. The stock 6 cyl has been replaced with a .030 over 350 Chevy motor with a 3.750 inch stroke crank. When the math is all done, that makes 383 cubic inches of Torque Monster motor |

So, next comes the final touches on the bodywork and the teardown for paint. Like I said, the chevy has been tore apart and put back together lots of times. We wanted it to be the best that we could do with the money and resources that were available.
