Source of income

As a voluntary organization, sources of finance organizations are uncertain. Most of the sources of income Rumah Bakti Dato'Harun (HRDB) is dependent on:

- Donations from individuals and corporate bodies

- Government Help Center approximately 20% (one year) of the total number of orphans.

This contribution is channeled through the Social Welfare Department (SWD).


- (In 2013 the amount given is RM100,000.00)

- The lack of income from savings accommodated expenses or surplus obtained during public donations during Ramadan.

Expenditure

Generally expenditure for these orphans reach between RM70,000 - RM100,000 a month. The expense ratio includes the following requirements:

- Electricity, water and gas (4.4%)

- Food and beverages (9.7%)

- Oil and vehicle maintenance (2 buses and 3 vans) - (3.0%)

- Allowances teach religious teachers and tuition fees (6.4%)

- Repair and maintenance of buildings (5.0%)

- Purchase of books and stationery (1.5%)

- Pocket money school children in public schools (15%)

- Salaries and employee overtime (29%)

- Telephone expenses (0.5%)

- Miscellaneous (employee insurance, Astro, Perkeso, medicine, clothing) - (25.5%)

(Revenues and expenses RBDH audited by a qualified auditor and audit reports will be sent to the Registry of Societies and the Social Welfare Department in each year.)

Daily necessities :-

- Cash

- Dry food items such as milo, sugar, chili sauce, soy sauce, sweetened condensed milk, noodles and so on.

- Wet items such as chicken, meat, fish, vegetables an fruits.

- New or used clothing including school shoes

- Blankets, sheets and pillowcases

- Books for libraries

- Stationery and exercise books

- Tools cleaners such as washing soap, bath soap, and the like.

- Pad (Kotex type).

- New or Used Computers

- Building maintenance equipment such as lights Borneo.

- Electrical devices (new / used) such as ironing, washing machines, fans and the like.

- Water filter.

- Other items that can be used by the orphans.
