Ginger chicken

Ingredients

1.Chicken-1/2kg
   Soya sauce-1 tbsp
  Red chillie powder-1tsp
  Lime juice-1/2 lemon
Mix all these together with salt and keep it aside for 15 min.

2.Onion-75g
Ginger-50g
Garlic-25g
Grind these together into fine paste.

3.Chilli powder-1tsp
White pepper powder-1/4tsp
Ajinomotto-a pinch (optional)
Tomato sauce-3tbsp
Chilli sauce-1/2tsp
Soya sauce-1 tbsp
Orange red colour-a pinch (optional)
Salt
4.Celery stem-a little
Spring onion-a little
5.salad oil

Method

1.Heat salad oil and half fry the marinated chicken in it.Drain and keep aside.
2.Remove the extra oil and keep enough oil in the pan to cook the masala.
3.Now add the ground onion paste and fry till the raw smell disappears. Stir to avoid sticking to the pan.
4.Add chilli pd, white pepper pd, ajinomotto, tomato sauce, chilli sauce, soya sauce, orange colour and stir well.Cook till oil separates out.
5.Add the half fried chicken and stir well. Add enough water for the chicken to cook nearly 11/2 cup. Add salt according to taste.
6.Serve garnished with celery leaves and spring onions chopped.
