| Butter chicken Ingredients 1.Chicken boneless-500 g Turmeric pd- 1\2 tsp Redchilli pd- 1\2 tsp Garam masala pd- 1\2 tsp Salt- a pinch 2.Cumin seed- 3tsp Fenugreek seed-1\2 tsp Fried onion slices- of 2 onions Cashewnut-50 g Red chilli pd-1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste-1 tbsp Green chilli-3 3.Butter-100 g Tomato sauce-2 tbsp Coriander leaves- a small bunch Fresh cream-100 g Garam masala pd-1\2 tsp Salt- as per taste |
| Method 1. Boil the boneless chicken pieces with turmeric pd, red chilli pd, garam masala pd & salt. 2. Make a fine paste of cumin seed, fenugreek seed, fried onion, cashew nut, red chilli pd, ginger-garlic paste & green chilli in a mixer. 3. Heat butter on low flame. When it melts add the masala paste & cook till fat leaves the sides and the raw smell of masala disappears. 4. Now add tomato sauce & boiled chicken along with the stock. Stir well till it becomes semi- thick gravy. Add salt accordingly. 5. Now add the fresh cream & stir well. 6. Serve garnished with coriander leaves & garam masala. |
