Cabbage thoran

Ingredients

Cabbage shredded- 100 g
Coconut grated- � cup
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Garlic- 1clove
Mustard seeds- � tsp
Urad dal- 1 tsp
Dry red chili- 2
Curry leaves-
Turmeric powder- � tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut oil

Method

1. Heat a tbsp of coconut oil. Splutter mustard seeds, urad dal, dery red chili and curry leaves.
2. Add shredded cabbage and cook on very slow heat. When half cooked add salt and turmeric powder.
3. Crush coconut, cumin seeds and garlic. Add this to cabbage mixture. Cook covered for for few more minutes. Serve as a side dish with boiled rice.
