| Mughlai pheerni Ingredients Basmati rice- 250 g Milk-1 lt Sugar-250 g Pista & badam- for garnishing Ghee-2 tbsp Saffron-a pinch Elaichi powder-1 tsp Method 1. Wash & soak the rice for 30min.Heat ghee in a pan & fry the drained rice in it. Cool & grind the rice coarsely in a mixer. 2. Boil the milk & add the ground rice. Stir constantly to avoid lumps & cook for 30 min or till rice is done. 3. Now add the sugar & cook till thick. Add saffron & elaichi pd. Garnish with nuts. Serve it either hot or cold. |
