Many of these selected artworks were created up to five or six years ago, mostly during the latter years of my high school education. I haven't painted much since then, though I do draw occasionally (for instance, some of the pencil portraits are more recent creations). I'd really like to spend a little more time on my art in the future. Many of the images below are not a complete replica of the actual painting/drawing as I am constrained by a small sized scanner. Unfortunately, some of the images do not give justice to the actual painting as the camera flash has distorted the paint finish/texture and colour. I am primarily a copier of things that I can see before me, which is really my pet artistic peeve. The few drawings and paintings that are entirely from my head-space include: "38 Degrees C", "Woman in the Mirror", "Anger Hurting", and "Choice" . 38 Degrees C is my personal favourite, and inspired a poem entitled "My James Dean". "Her Floral Web" inspired "Scent of a Woman", and "My Father the Man in the Moon" inspired a poem by the same title, written several years after the painting was created. My personal, all-time favourite artists are James Gleeson (Australian) and Salvador Dali.
