Nora Nicholas, USS- In 2372, the Nora Nicholas was on patrol in the Typhon Sector, when the ship was diverted to help in a war game with the newly commissioned USS Enterprise. The Nora Nicholas was disabled and set adrift, with the crew marooned on a planet by the Klingons. The crew was later rescued. (TNGN Ship of the Line) The book called the vessel a fighter class. Since I really do not know what the author was implying either a ship of the USS Fighter Class or a fighter in the sense of like Peregrine Class, but why would Starfleet send a single fighter on a patrol along the Klingon Border.

Oberth, USS- In 2368, Lt. Sonya Gomez transferred to the vessel for a project and to be promoted. In 2369, Sonya Gomez transferred to the USS Sentinel. (SCE II: Invincible, SCE III: Riddled Outpost, SCE VI: War Stories, Wildfire, SCE VII: Breakdowns) The editors assume that it is of the Oberth Class, but there is no indication it is an Oberth Class.
