Neptune, USS- Defiant Class. The Neptune was under the command of Capt Landwaring. In 2376, the Neptune was the flagship of Task Force Javelin that was sent to locate the source of the Genesis Wave. The Neptune discovered a derelict shuttlepod. One of the Neptune�s crewmembers went into the shuttlepod. The Neptune was last heard from in the Boneyard. The Neptune arrived at Myrmidon with no crew. Comdr Crusher of the Enterprise took a skeleton crew over to the Neptune. An unknown life form infected the crew and the Neptune attacked Myrmidon. The Enterprise transported the crew aboard and the Neptune was destroyed when the Genesis Wave hit. (TNGN Genesis Wave I, TNGN Genesis Wave II)

Nightengale, USS- The Nightengale was a hospital ship under the command of Capt Raelius. In 2251, the Nightengale was sent to the planet, Playamar, to help the inhabitants recover from a series of earthquakes. Cadet McCoy and the Disaster Relief Club went with the vessel to help out. (TOS SAYR Aftershock) The cover art shows a Daedalus Class vessel as the Nightengale, but the book never mentions the Nightengale�s class.

Nile, USS- Danube Class. The Nile as attached to Deep Space Nine. In 2376, Ens. Tenmei took the Nile was sent to Minos Korva to pick up the mission team. (DS9N WD2: Unjoined) The Nile was only mentioned by name, but judging by the name, I am assuming it was a Danube Class.
Nimitz, USS- Sabre Class. In 2365, the Nimitz was under the command of Capt Andy Borja. The Nimitz was sent to explore an uninhabited planet. The Nimitz was an exploratory ship. (TNGN A Rock and A Hard Place) In 2371, the Nimitz transported Adm Nechayev to a meeting with Gul Eska and with the Hood. (The Brave and the Bold Bk 2) The Nimitz was in service in 2378. (SC III)
