Mandela, USS- The Mandela was under the command of Capt Demora Sulu. In the 2350s, the Mandela would patrol the Federation colonies along the Cardassian border. One of the planets was Chakotay�s home planet. In 2352, Capt Sulu was able to help Chakotay get into Starfleet Academy. (VOY TFTCT: Seduced) There is a little discrepancy with VOYN Pathways. Capt Hiromi Sulu was the Capt Sulu that took Chakotay to Starfleet Academy. I assumed both Sulus were serving in the same area and Capt Hiromi Sulu took Chakotay to Earth.
Manhattan, USS- In 2268, the Manhattan greeted the Enterprise, when the Enterprise came back from testing the inversion drive. The Manhattan was painted in Klingon colors for the day that the Klingons join the Federation. (TOSN The Wounded Sky)
Manitou, USS- The Manitou was under the command of Capt Cepeda. Ens Jiterica previously served on the vessel. (STA Gauntlet) In 2333, the Manitou met with the Stargazer to pick up Ens Nikolas and to drop off Adm McAteer. (STA Enigma)
Marco Polo, USS- Registry NCC-7215. The Marco Polo was part of the Federation Fleet that engaged the Borg at Wolf 359 in 2366. (STWT) In 2367, the Marco Polo was a deep space explorer. The Marco Polo was under the command of Capt Lyrinda Halk. The Marco Polo was attacked by unknown vessels and heavily damaged in the Beta Marada System. The USS Enterprise rescued the Marco Polo�s crew. The Marco Polo under the temporary command of Comdr Riker maneuvered through some super string phenomena to destroy the attackers. (TNGC The Best of TNG: Thin Ice) The design of the Marco Polo was based on an inaccurate description of the Challenger Class. A Constellation Class saucer and upper nacelles with a engineering section put on it. I have decided not to make it a Challenger Class.

Marconi, USS- Aeolus Class. In 2370, the Marconi was attached to Starbase 171. The Marconi was used by Admiral Trask to meet with the Enterprise and to transport Blaisdell back to the starbase. Blaisdell stole a runabout and was killed by the Marconi. (TNGN Infiltrators)
Marcus, USS- The Marcus was considered one of the fastest ships in Starfleet. In 2369, The Marcus was sent to transport N�Vashal to Skerra IV. (TNGN To Storm Heaven)
Marquand, USS- Danube Class. Attached to the USS Excalibur. In 2373, Zak Kebron and Si Cwan took it to rendevezous with the Kayven Ryin. (NF Into the Void) The Marquand met with the Kayven Ryin. The Marquand was destroyed by the Kayven Ryin, but Kebron and Cwan transported onto the Kayven Ryin. (NF Two Front War)The Marquand was called a runabout. So I assumed that it was a Danube Class.
Marya Morevna, USS- The Marya Morevna was a carrier. In 2270, the Marya Morevna greeted the Enterprise, when the Enterprise came back from testing the inversion drive. (TOSN The Wounded Sky)
Maryland, USS- Patricia Paris served on the vessel. The Maryland fought at the Battle of Ankaata. (STA Progenitor)
Maryland, USS- Registry NCC-45109. Renaissance Class. In 2373, Garak mentioned the Maryland as being missing in the Gamma Quadrant, about possibly Dominion involvement. (DS9 In Purgatory�s Shadow) Name mentioned. Class and Registry from STE2
