Bike Trip

I don't know how others ride but I generally just pack some clothes, a tent, a sleeping back and if I'm generous to myself, a pillow. Everything is strapped on with me. There's comfort in getting packed up, zipping on your jacket, strapping on your helmet and knowing that that is the most protection, warmth and familiarity that I'm going to get. There's where I see the adventure, that's why I call it home.

Shown above is a typical camp setup. There's just a tent and our bikes. This photo was taken in the morning. We just finished cleaning up our bikes, Ray is just polishing his. Food is generally not taken along but we'll stop for some fruit as a snack or we'll have some water along. We often go to restaurants or just pick up some grub at a grocery store, eating it at a park on on the curb.
