1929 John Deere D
The block and pistons were not useable. A new block, pistons,
rings and wrist pins were found in the barn of an old farmer ( Don
Dufner ) in Buxton, North Dakota. The head needed welding and
valve work. Lloyd's Cylinder Head Repair in Rogers, MN made 4 new
valve guides and ground the valves, plus resurface the manifold face. |
