25 Weeks (October 29th)
We've been so busy preparing for baby - especially after learning on Sept. 30th that it's a girl. We were so excited we immediately made plans for the nursery and decorated it with grandma & grandpa, Uncle Brian & Aunt Jill & Cousin Alexa on October 10th. It looks beautiful. I hope to post photos of the before and after real soon.
As you may have guessed, we have chosen Brianna Lynn for the name. She is named after my mom (Jacquelynn). She is kicking all day and all night. She likes to roll back and forth, stretch her legs (ouch!), and run her fists on the roof of my stomach. Right she is breach, and hopefully that will change.
Symptoms have dramatically changed. Hardly any nausea, but still tired, and lots of growing pains in the tummy. She is pressing on my hips so walking isn't the funnest thing right now either.
16th week (August 27th)
Just had the 3rd appointment and everything is good. We heard the heartbeat (152 bpm) for the first time. So far I feel lots of flutters and pinches. My belly is starting to grow! All my pants are way too tight. A little more energy, but it's hard to stay up past 10:00.
We will be getting our 3rd ultrasound Sept. 30th.
During the 2nd ultrasound the baby was moving!
Things I hate (but liked before):
Soup, sweet/sugary things, bacon, steak, mashed potatoes, anything grilled and the smell of grilling, certain types of pizza
Things I love:
MILK!, cheese flavored things (cheese balls, crackers, etc...), sherbet, chicken, french fries (yum yum), fruit flavored pop (although it's very naughty to have), water, Subway turkey sub, fruit drinks, and fruit
All day nausea for about the first 14wks, now just in spurts.
Began throwing up at 14 weeks
Lots of headaches mixed with migraines
Sensitive Tummy :(
Tired, oh so tired all the time
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists - started around 14th wk
Tired from Mom's mood swings
Annoyed by my craving for Subway
Anxious for baby Brianna to come
Bored with shopping for maternity clothes
All in all, Dad's in pretty good shape
