EL 243 Hurama associated with Hahhum in instruction from karum of Kaniš: Garelli, 112.
CCT 4 18a Hahhum is associated with Timilkia: Garelli, 112. Timilkia and Hahhum do not seem to receive instructions from Kaniš and road from Assur seems to go through these cities. Garelli (113) suggests that Luhusattia, Hurama and Salahšua control principal passes to Kaniš near Bimbogadagh.

Hahhum is identified as near the sources of the Tigris, with Mamma N of the Taurus near Göksun: Astour 1995, 1409;1411. Gelb, AJSL 55 1938 75; Guterbock JNES 20 1961 96.; Garstang, JNES 1 1942 452; LAndsberger Belleten 3 1939 223; Lewy Or 21 1952 273; Bilgic AfO 15 1945-51 13;

Goetze JCS 7 1953 68 and Garelli, 109 in Elbistan. Garelli places Hahhum, Timilkia, Hurama, Luhusattia and Šalahšua in plain of Elbistan: Garelli, 113.

Garelli locates Mamma in high route avoiding Elbistan, thus locating Hahhum in Elbistan, thereby explaining TCL 4 18.
