BACKGROUND OF AL-TAQWA

Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa is an orphanage providing a caring and is an orphanage providing a caring and loving home for children that are orphaned or from very poor or destitute families in Malaysia. At present the ranging age of children is from 5 to 13 year olds. Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa provides not only a shelter, but a home and schooling that is above national standards of education. Through this, Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa hopes to break the cycle of reliance and give the best opportunites to their children so they will become a caring global citizens.

Most children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa attended school such as SEKOLAH TAHFIZ AN NAJIHAH NILAI, SEKOLAH BERSRAMA PENUH BINA INSAN KAJANG, Kolej VETA at Semayoh Kajang and more.

According to the founder of Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa, Pn. Norhayati bt. Wan Abib Norhayati (40 years old) all children school fees is borne entirely by Al-Taqwa per month. She also share the painful moment in Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Al-Taqwa where they do not have enough money to buy a food, and that time she only can give them eat a empty fried rice but the children still remain grateful.

Starting with four orphans who are her former students in 2011, now the amount of orphans in At-Taqwa is 60 people and it will be increase by times to times.

Recalling the beginning of Al-Taqwa establishment, Pn. Norhayati and her husband Amran Khalid (42) used all his savings to pay rent homes applicable until he was offered the house for free by the public as a permanent placement of orphans affected.
