The final two were walking to the final tribal council.

=()=Helga "It's hard to say who's going to win. I'm finally able to speak at a tribal council! It's been so long."

=()=Rachel "I really don't care which one of those b****es win. I really don't. Call me a sour loser, but they all lied to me. Every single one of them. So, I'm everyone's enemy."

=()=Taly "Ah, I'm so happy that those two made it! I was waiting for this day to come, but it's too bad James had to go out like that."

=()=Marianne "I can't wait. Period. I'm gonna ask my question, and vote on that. I really have no idea who gets my vote tonight. Phoebe betrayed me, so I'm a little so-so with her."

=()=Tatiana "I'm so happy for Phoebe! Sonja? Oh. Yeah, she's there too. Woohoo."

=()=Mark "Phoebe, eww."

=()=James "Ha, I can't wait 'til the tribal council. It's going to be cruel on them…HAHA! After hearing the jury's opinions, I absolutely know this tribal council is going to be explosive."

-FINAL TRIBAL COUNCIL (15)-
-Day 39-
-Tribal Council Area-

The final two walked in, Jeff smiling. "Well, let's bring in the jury." Jeff said. Helga, Rachel, Taly, Marianne, Tatiana, Mark, and James all walked in; cleaned up. They smiled at the final two, as Helga eyed Sonja down. James laughed.

"Well, here we are. The final tribal council." Jeff began.
"First, we need the final two to give us their closing statements. Anything you want us to know now that we're here?" Jeff looked at Sonja and Phoebe. They both shook their heads, but Phoebe took a deep breath.

"Yes." She looked at him. She then began to speak.
"Well, ever since Chad was voted off; I thought it was smooth sailing until the end…cocky, eh? My alliance with Marianne and Steph grew and grew, until she was voted out. I knew voting for her would be a mistake, and would haunt me later on. When the merge hit, I stupidly let Chris go; and I had no idea what was happening. I thought I was gone the next week. Somehow, I managed to sneak my way into the final two, and I'm just ecstatic about winning either 100,000, or a million dollars!"

Jeff looked at Sonja.
"Hmm…okay then. I'll go." She smiled, and started to speak.
"I'm REALLY surprised I'm here. From day one, I knew I was a threat, and I knew people saw me as a conniving bitch. I mean, look at the jury; I've been one of the votes that caused each one of their demises. It's weird, isn't it? I voted for all of you, and I'm asking you to vote for me to win. This game has a lot of turns, and I just want to wish Phoebe good luck." Sonja smiled, and Jeff nodded.

The jury looked at each other, and shook their heads.
"Well, on to the jury. One-by-one, I will call a jury member up. You can ask a question and or make a statement. Then, the final two survivors will answer your question, or talk in response to your statement. With that, we'll start with you, Helga." Jeff looked at Helga, as she stood up.
She stood in front of Phoebe and Sonja, smiled, and nodded. "Okay then. I have a statement." Sonja rolled her eyes.
"Sonja. I trusted you from day one. The day you voted against me was the day you scarred yourself, AND screwed yourself. Once I was gone, I knew it was you in the final two; and I tried to put that thought that it would be James and Phoebe. But, no. It's you and Phoebe; which makes it a whole lot easier. I just wanted to let you know Phoebe that you're winning tonight, or at least you're getting one extra vote. Because Sonja, I would never EVER vote for you. EVER. Sonja, you seriously need to re-evaluate your ethics. And I mean SERIOUSLY re-evaluate them. That's all I have to say. Oh, and congratulations Phoebe." Helga sat back down, as Sonja and Phoebe remained speechless.

"Okay then. Rachel; you're next." Rachel stood up.
"Pick a number between 1-100. The closest one will get my vote." She looked at Sonja and Phoebe, as they smiled.
"7." Sonja blurted.
"95." Phoebe smiled.
"Thanks." Rachel said, with a smirk. She sat down.

"Taly." Jeff looked at Taly, as she grinned. She then got up.

"First off, congratulations." She smiled.
"Second, my question. My question is, if you win the million, what's going to happen with it?" Taly asked.

"Well, first, I'd pay my bills. Second, I'd put the money towards my child's tuition. And third, I'd invest it." Phoebe smiled.

Sonja grinned, and started to speak. "I'd pay my bills, support my family, and with the rest I'd go back to school."

Taly grinned. "Thank you." She sat back down.

Marianne got up, after seeing Jeff staring at her and nodding.
"Well, congrats. Here's my question. What alliances have you been in? Explain to me according to tribal council what alliance you were in that night." She smiled, as the jury all nodded.

Sonja went first.
"Tribal Council number one, James, Tatiana, and Helga.
Number two, Helga, Tatiana, and Woody.
Number five, Tatiana and Helga.
Number seven, Pahohe.
Number eight, Phoebe and James.
Number nine, Rachel.
Number ten, James, Tatiana, and Mark.
Number eleven, Pahohe.
Number twelve, Mark and Phoebe.
Number thirteen…Phoebe.
Number fourteen…Phoebe." She smiled.

"And you Phoebe?" Marianne turned towards Phoebe. Phoebe started to talk.

"Number three, you and Steph.
Four, you.
Six, you, Mark, and Rachel.
Seven, you.
Eight, you.
Nine, Tatiana.
Ten, Taly and James.
Eleven, Toheto.
Twelve, Mark and Sonja.
Thirteen, James.
Fourteen, James." She smiled.

"Thanks." Marianne sat down.

Tatiana got up next.
"I really don't have a question. Just a statement. I'm voting for you to win Sonja. I feel you're the overall best player, and you were always there for me. Despite the fact you voted for me to go out, I asked you to do that. I thank you for being such a good friend in the game, and good luck to you both." Tatiana smiled. Sonja's eyes widened, it seemed like she was in shock. Phoebe was shaking her head.

Next was Mark.
He smiled at the two of them.
"Sonja, you didn't betray me, because we were never aligned. So, you get my vote. Short and sweet." He sat down.

James was last.
He smiled at the two of them.
"What skills does it take to get as far as you two have gotten?" He looked at them.
"Luck. It's pure luck." Sonja smiled.
Phoebe shook her head.
"Okay…here we go.
Assertiveness.
Communication skills.
Survival skills.
Luck.
And it's not really a skill; but a good personality." Phoebe smiled.

James nodded, and sat down.
"Well, now that that's over…it's time to vote. Instead of like usual, you're not voting against someone. You're voting FOR someone. Jury, that name you put down on the card is for who you want to WIN…not lose. That said, it's time to vote. James, you can go first." James got up, and went to the voting podium.

He wrote down a name. "I liked your answer in the question the most. Good luck." He sat down.
"Mark. You're up." Mark got up, and went to the voting podium.
"Sonja. Because you deserve it." He sat down, as Tatiana got up.

She wrote down SONJA on her card. "Because I said I would. Thanks for helping me out." She sat down, and stared at Phoebe.

"Marianne." Jeff looked at Marianne, as she nodded and stood up.

"Phoebe. Because you were in less alliances than Sonja. Good luck, girl." She sat down.

Next was Taly. She got up, and wrote down a name. "Good luck." She said, softly. She sat down.

Fifth was Rachel. "Because you were closest to my number." She sat down.
Last was Helga. "Phoebe. Because you never betrayed me. Sonja; I hate you. I really hope you re-evaluate your ethics, because let me tell you; the ones you have now aren't going to do you much good." She smiled at the camera, as she shook her head. "What a shame." She put her vote in the jar, and sat down.

Jeff looked at the nine of them. "I'll go get the votes." He left, and retrieved the votes.

"Once the votes are read…the decision's final. That person will be claimed the Ultimate Survivor. I'll read the votes…" Jeff opened the container.

A sweat-drop came down Sonja's forehead. Phoebe stared at Jeff.

"First vote…" Jeff unfolded the vote, and showed it to everyone.
"Phoebe." Jeff smiled, as Phoebe nodded.

"Second vote…" Jeff took out the second vote.
"Phoebe." Jeff read off the vote, as the jury remained in shock.

"Two votes for Phoebe."

"Third vote…" Jeff took out the third vote, and unfolded it.
"Pheebs." He showed the card.
"That's three votes for Phoebe." Jeff smiled.

"Fourth vote…" Jeff unfolded the vote, as Sonja's eyes widened.
"Sonja. That's three for Phoebe, and one for Sonja." Jeff grinned, as Phoebe looked at Sonja, and held her hand.

"Fifth vote…
Sonja.
That's two votes for Sonja, and three for Phoebe." Jeff smiled.
"Sixth vote…" Jeff unfolded it.

"Sonja." He smiled, as Phoebe and Sonja looked at each other, shaking their heads.

"The last vote." Jeff took the last vote out.

"And the winner of Survivor Brazil…" He showed the vote, as Sonja jumped up and hugged Phoebe, who was also jumping up and down.

In all the commotion, he read the last vote.
"Sonja." He smiled, as Sonja started to cry. The jury sat up, and joined in on the celebration.

Minutes later, Philip, Woody, Chad, Stephanie, Karl, and Barry walked in. They all hugged.

"Congratulations Sonja! You're the winner of $1,000,000!" Jeff smiled as Sonja cried some more.
"YES!" Sonja yelled
"Good job!!" Phoebe hugged Sonja.

"JOIN US IN THE NEXT SEASON OF SURVIVOR, WHERE WE GO TO A DIFFERENT PART OF SOUTH AMERICA. ONE OF THE MOST MOUNTAINOUS COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD…CHILE! JOIN US NEXT SEASON AS 16 NEW AMERICANS WILL COMPETE IN THE BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY OF CHILE! I'm JEFF PROBST, THANK YOU, AND GOOD NIGHT!" Jeff looked at the camera, as it zoomed out…showing the celebration.

"A surprise. Quite a surprise. It's interesting that the sway vote was Taly; I guess she felt that Sonja's answer was the best. I mean, I know for a fact it was Taly who swayed the vote. It's been a long journey; but, hey…it was all in fun. I won $100,000, which is more than Chad can say…or Steph. So, I'll just go home with my money and be proud of the way I played the game. I'm happy for Sonja; I really didn't think she could do it."

"I can't believe I won!" A tear came down Sonja's face. "YES! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!" She wiped her tear, and began to speak again. "It's interesting…how I won. I didn't believe I was going to win, I highly doubted it; in fact. But, sure enough, I won.

It's been great! I know Taly voted for me, and I can't thank her enough! I really can't! I'm so happy…that I still won, EVEN though I voted for every single jury member when it was his or her time to go! IT WAS AMAZING! Thanks for the wonderful times we had Phoebe…I'll see you around."
