-Immunity Challenge : Obstacle Course-
-Day 33-
-Challenge Field-
"Welcome, Dunatos." Jeff smiled. "How
was your night James?" Jeff asked. "Fine. Thanks." James smiled.
"Well, James, I'm gonna need that necklace back." Jeff noticed James
had the necklace ready to give back. "Thanks." Jeff smiled. James
grinned, slyly.
"For today's challenge - we have an obstacle course.
First, you have to eat three juicy worms. Once I approve that you've eaten them,
you can move on and climb up the stairs. Once you're up the stairs, you'll have
to swing across a puddle of mud. If you fall into the mud, you'll have to start
over - worms and all. After the puddle of mud, you have to slide down this slide,
and then run towards the cart. Take the cart, and wheel it down to the beach.
Take the swimming mask, and dive down into the ocean to retrieve a treasure
chest. There are six down there. The first person to be in the Winners Circle
with their treasure chest, and have done all of the obstacles will win. Got
that?" Jeff asked, smiling. Everyone nodded.
"Survivors ready? GO!" Jeff yelled.
With that, Sonja speeded to the worms, and ate all three of them at a time. "Sonja,
you can move on." Jeff said to Sonja, as she sped up the stairs, and tripped
into the pile of mud. She walked back to the start line.
James quickly finished his worms, and was approved by Jeff. He ran up the stairs,
and tripped, trying not to fall in the mud.
(Leading : James)
(Trailing : Sonja, Marianne, Mark, Tatiana, Phoebe)
Phoebe had troubles getting down the three worms
as well as Tatiana. Marianne
also had problems, while Mark had two finished. Sonja ate the three of them in
no time; again. Jeff approved her, as Mark finished his. Mark was approved.
The two of them ran up the stairs, as James swung across the mud pit.
(Leading : James)
(Trailing : Sonja, Mark, Marianne, Tatiana, Phoebe)
Phoebe, Tatiana, and Marianne still had troubles getting down their worms. Mark
swung across the mud pit, and fell down the slide. He laid there for a while.
James slid down the slide, and ran towards the cart. Sonja wasn't far behind
him.
(Leading : James, Sonja)
(Trailing : Mark, Marianne, Tatiana, Phoebe)
Phoebe, Tatiana, and Marianne weren't cooperating with the worms. They hadn't
even gotten one down.
James ran his cart to beach, and took the swimming mask off of it. He dived
down into the water, as Sonja tripped down to the beach, her cart following
her. Mark got up, and took his cart. He ran down the beach as James got back
up and tried to take his chest to the winners circle. Sonja got up, and dived
down into the water. James tripped before he reached the winners circle, as
Mark had trouble diving. Sonja got up, and tried hard to get her chest in the
winners circle before James. James picked up his chest, and made a run towards
the winner circle.
"James, IMMUNITY!" Jeff yelled out. James fell down on the sand, and
was exhausted.
"Way to go James
" Sonja half-grinned. A tear came down Sonja's
face
as she looked back at Marianne. "Guys, I'll give you the afternoon
to think about Tribal Council. I'll see you all later.
(Winner : James)
(Losers : Sonja, Marianne, Mark, Tatiana, Phoebe)
Dunatos Tribe
=()=Sonja "I needed that Immunity. Thanks a lot James for winning it."
=()=Mark "That was funny. Sonja's face when James had won."
"Come on guys. We should head out." James said.
"Easy for you to say." Sonja frowned.
*~* "What's wrong Sonja?" James asked. "Marianne,
Tatiana, and Mark are voting for me." Sonja said. "Well, I can't trust
you anymore
so don't think I'm getting Phoebe to vote for someone else.
Sorry." James frowned, as he took his torch.
"Come on guys, let's head out!" he yelled again.
The six of them walked to tribal council, Sonja being
the last person in the line.
-Tribal Council 11-
-Day 33-
-Tribal Council Area-
"Welcome Dunatos." Jeff greeted the six members
of the Dunatos Tribe.
"Tribal Council number eleven. Let me bring in the jury; which is growing
each tribal council."
Helga walked in, followed by Rachel and Taly. They all looked at James, who
was wearing the immunity necklace. Taly smiled.
"James. Did you really need this immunity?"
Jeff asked.
"Yes. I did. I mean, there are six people left
you have to take Immunity
anytime you can get it, and that's a fact." James said.
"Did you winning the reward get some people angry?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah, definitely. Some people really wanted to see the videos of their
families." James said.
"Phoebe. James took you on the reward with him.
Does that switch your vote tonight?" Jeff asked Phoebe.
"No, not at all." Phoebe smiled.
"Marianne. You stayed at the worm obstacle in immunity
you
seemed like you didn't care. Do you know who's leaving tonight?" Jeff asked
her. "Absolutely." She smiled, and turned her head towards Sonja.
"Sonja. It seems like you wanted that Immunity.
Is there a specific reason?" Jeff asked Sonja, turning his head towards
her.
"No, not really. I've heard I'm tonight's victim,
so I guess that's a reason." Sonja smiled.
"Mark. Will tribal lines stick?" Jeff asked.
"I think Tribal Lines were Eliminated when Helga was voted out. I mean,
Chris went, and then Helga. One from Toheto, and then one from Pahohe. So, no,
the tribal lines won't stick."
"Finally. Tatiana. How many votes are you getting?"
Jeff asked her.
The jury looked at her.
"Ah
maybe
one?" she smiled.
"Well, there's six of you left. We're getting down
to 6 days left in the game. One of you will be voted out tonight, and you will
add to the jury. You're voting someone out, and asking for them to vote for
you in the long-run. A confusing game, yes. But, a game that has to be played.
With that said, James, you're up. Time to vote." Jeff looked at James,
who got up and walked towards the voting podium.
"Marianne. I'm tired of your rude ethics. You really
need to re-evaluate them." He smiled and sat down.
"Tatiana, you're up next." Tatiana got up, and looked at Taly, who
was glaring right back at her.
"Tonight is your night. I'm sorry, but you've bossed me around one too
many times. Our alliance ends right now." Tatiana sat down.
"Marianne." Jeff said, pointing towards the voting podium.
Marianne stepped up, and looked back. "Sonja. You know why." Marianne
put her vote inside of the container, and sat down.
Phoebe was fourth. She voted, and sat back down.
"Sonja, you're up." Jeff said.
Sonja went up to vote, and placed a name down on the voting card. "Marianne.
If I'm going to leave, I'm going to leave with a bang." Sonja smiled, and
sat down.
Last to vote was Mark. He went up and put down the name SONJA on his voting
card.
"Because. Marianne wants you out
and Marianne is the queen of the
alliance. I apologize." He sat down.
"I'll go get the votes." Jeff said, as Mark sat down. He returned
with the voting container.
"You know the drill. Once the votes are read, the
decision is final. That person will be asked to leave the tribal council area
immediately. I'll read the votes." Jeff said. Everyone looked nervous,
except for James
who had Immunity.
"First vote
Sonja." Jeff unfolded the
vote, as Sonja smiled.
Helga looked at the vote, and grinned.
"Second vote." Jeff unfolded the vote.
"Sonja." He showed the vote, as Helga's grin turned into a smirk.
"Third vote
Sonja." Jeff read the third
vote, as Sonja began to frown.
"Fourth vote
Marianne." Jeff read the fourth vote, as Sonja began
to smile a little bit.
"Three votes Sonja, one vote Marianne."
.
.
.
.
"Fifth vote
Marianne." Jeff read.
Helga was not smiling anymore.

"Final vote
" Jeff took out the vote, and unfolded it.

"Marianne. We have a tie." Jeff said, as Sonja smiled. Marianne looked
shocked.
"In the event of a tie, we have the two people who are tied say their pleas.
Marianne, you can go first." Jeff looked at Marianne.
"Wow. I never expected this
my gosh! I'm still
trying to take all of this in. I had a great time here
and it's your decision
if you want to keep me in
not mine." Marianne smiled.
Sonja went second. "Wow. That's a surprise. I thought
for sure I was going to be voted off, and I thank you for not voting me off
right away. Vote the way you want to, not the way someone else wants you to."
She smiled at Marianne.
"Okay then. Let's re-vote. James, you're up."
Jeff said, as James nodded and got up.
He went to the voting podium.
He voted, and sat back down.
Tatiana went second. "Same reasons as last time." She smiled, and
sat down.
Third was Phoebe. "Because I said I would never betray Marianne. Sorry
Sonja." Phoebe frowned, and put her vote inside of the container.
Last to re-vote was Mark. "Same reasons as last
time." Mark smiled, and took his seat.
"I'll go get the re-votes." Jeff smiled, and
got the voting container.
"Once the re-votes are read, the decision is final.
That person will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately."
Jeff said.
"I'll read the re-votes."
"First vote
Sonja." There was a sad-face
on the card. Sonja smiled.
"Second vote
Marianne."
"That's one vote Marianne, one vote Sonja."
Jeff smiled.
"Third vote
Marianne." Jeff read
as Sonja's eyes widened.
"Fourth vote
Sonja.
Another tie." Jeff sat down.
"The vote is now dead-locked. We now go to previous votes." Jeff began
as
he looked at Marianne.
"Marianne. How many previous votes do you have?"
Jeff asked Marianne.
"Two - that I know of." Marianne smiled, and looked at Sonja.
"And, Sonja. How many previous votes do you have?"
Jeff waited for the answer.
.
.
.
.
.
.
"One." Sonja said, simply.
"One vote is the difference." Jeff smiled.
"Marianne, you'll have to bring me your torch." Jeff said.
Marianne got up, and brought Jeff her torch. "I'm sorry Marianne. But the
tribe has spoken." Jeff snuffed out Marianne's torch, and she walked away
into the dark night.
"Well, it's been a very long night. The five of
you can head back to camp." Jeff said, as the five remaining members in
the game walked back to their camp.
****~~~~~****** Marianne's Final Words ~~~~~~*****~~~~~~~~
"Ah! I was screwed. I must admit, Sonja did good swaying James and Phoebe.
And if it wasn't James and Phoebe? Then she did even better. She really did.
I didn't expect her to come off as so strong
but she was very strong. I
definitely underestimated her.
For that matter, I wish Toheto the best of luck. If Pahohe
were the three that voted for me, then really good luck to Mark and Phoebe.
Oh well. It's been a fun game, and I'm on the jury. I wish the remaining five
the best of luck, only six more days for them to go! Hang in there guys!"
