Day 2
Orgullo Tribe

Sean and Patricia came back from getting the tree-mail. "Guys…" Patricia walked in. Jacob woke up. "Huh?" he scratched his guys. "We lost." Patricia frowned. "Err…" Jacob said. "Pfft…" Jasmine groaned. William sighed, and yawned. "Any info on the Immunity Challenge?" He asked.

"Yeah. There was nothing, except for a place…and a time. We have to leave right now." Sean said. Jacob sighed, and woke everyone up. "Come on guys, we gotta win this." He smiled.

-Immunity Challenge : Quest for Fire-
-Day 2-
-Challenge Beach-

The Ingenio Tribe strutted in with eight big smiles. The Orgullo Tribe's smiles from the day earlier had faded away.

"Welcome." Jeff said. "..to Immunity Challenge number one." Jeff smiled, looking at the sixteen of them. "In this game, we have six tribal immunities before a merge. Once a tribe wins, they win possession of the Immunity Idol." Jeff began, holding the Immunity Idol. "For now, I want you all to feel this. Get used to it." He passed the idol around…Jacob holding it first. Then Leticia…and she then passed it down. It ended up at Evelyn…who returned the idol back to Jeff. "Thanks." He smiled. Evelyn winked. "No problem, darlin." And she smiled.

"Well, this Immunity Challenge is called QUEST FOR FIRE. Although the tribe who got to their camps first DID win a match useful for one fire, we're going to give you 30 water proof matches if you win tonight." He said, looking at them. "Now, let me explain the challenge." He said, moving out of the Survivors view.

"As a team, you'll have to carry this torch through the water for the first leg. Once that is over, you'll then give a match to a team-mate, who will then take the match and put it in a safe place; where it won't get wet. Once they do that, they'll run towards the next leg. In that leg, they will have to swim out into the water and light another torch. Then, that person will go across the unsteady bridge, with the torch in their hands. You'll then add the torch to your first one, and race to the next leg. In that leg, six of you must take 3 matches, and light 3 mini-torches. Those 3 mini-torches will give you access to another large torch; making your torch total 2. The person who hasn't done anything will then quickly grab the 3rd torch, and run to the end. At the end, there's a ladder. They'll climb up it, and climb some more; until finally, they reach the last torch. Once they light that, and all of your team is past the finish line; your tribe has won Immunity. Got it?" Jeff asked.

Everyone nodded. "Well, you should pick who's doing what." He smiled.
The Orgullo Tribe had picked Leticia to swim, Sean to light the final torch, and the rest of them to light the 3 mini-torches.

Ingenio picked Kyle to swim, Kelly to light the final torch, and the rest of them to light the 3 mini-torches. Once they were all in one line, Jeff looked at them. "For Immunity…" he began.

"Survivors ready? GO!" He yelled. The Tribes were off.

Ingenio was off to a good start…making their way through the first part of water. The Orgullo Tribe was falling behind…William kept on slipping. Patricia and Jacob started to take charge for Orgullo, and they gained some ground on Ingenio.

It was dead even when the tribes reached the first leg. Kyle took his match without making sure it wouldn't get wet, and swam. Although a pretty fast swimmer; he realized the matches WEREN'T water proof. He swam back, and got another, as Leticia reached the first torch. She lit it. She was then off for the bridge.

On Kyle's way back for the match, he shook Leticia's bridge, as she trembled a bit. She scowled at him, and reached the end. Just as she hit the end, Kyle was on his way towards the end of the bridge.

Once Kyle was done, Orgullo was half-way to the second stop. Everyone seemed tired; especially for Leticia. It wasn't fast before Ingenio gained a lead on them, again. When Ingenio hit the stop, Orgullo was about 20 seconds behind.

Pauline and Ryan went to light the first mini-torch. Tamara and Evelyn went for the second. Raymond and David; the third. Tamara and Evelyn were going slow; as Pauline and Ryan lit their torch; bringing it to Kelly; and waiting for Evelyn, Tamara, Raymond, and David. Arnie and Emilia went off for the first mini-torch, as William and Patricia came back with the second. Jasmine and Jacob had the third, and brought it back. Orgullo had a strong lead.

Soon, Tamara and Evelyn got out; just before Arnie and Emilia. It was dead even AGAIN. For the final leg, Kelly and Sean had to run their butts off. They both took one of the torches, and ran as fast as they could. Their tribe-mates also had to run, because it was the first tribe with everyone there, AND their final torch lit. Kelly, being the obvious runner of Ingenio, got to the torch first. Sean; the obvious Climber of Orgullo, got their shortly after, but had less trouble climbing. He lit the torch, and waited for his tribe.

Ingenio's Raymond, Kyle, and David strolled in. Each with smiles on their face. Kelly finally lit the torch. 4/8 were there for Ingenio, 1/8 for Orgullo.

Soon, Evelyn and Tamara arrived. It was looking good for Ingenio; it was obvious they had a great chance of winning. Sean looked down…it looked like he was depressed. But, despite his emotions, Jasmine, Patricia, William, Emilia, Arnie, and Leticia strolled in. Orgullo was up by one. Sean had a Cheshire grin, and Kelly's eyes widened. She wondered where Ryan and Pauline were.

Pauline walked in the circle. The tribes were tied.
Ryan was being waited on for Ingenio, and Jacob for Orgullo. Both of them were running…running really fast. They both wanted to win, and they both saw that the game and immunity was on their shoulders. Ryan sped up, and Jacob slowed down. Ryan slowed down, and Jacob sped up. It was going to be a close race.

Ryan and Jacob both ran, and Jacob tripped. He fell, and rolled over in the sand. He slammed his head into the sand, mumbling the word "f***". Seconds later, Ryan got into the circle, as Jeff smiled.

"Ingenio, IMMUNITY!" Jeff yelled, handing Ryan the Immunity idol. You could barely hear anything with all the cheers going on. But, Jeff managed to get out a message to Orgullo. "Orgullo; I'll see you at tribal council." Jeff said, frowning. "You all can head back to camps!" Jeff said. The two tribes went back to camps. Orgullo was definitely depressed.

=()=Jacob "It IS my fault. Now I have to strategize my ass off in order to stay in this f***ing game. Pfft."

=()=Leticia "Well…it's not all Jacob's fault. He really doesn't deserve to be voted off. But…if the shoe fits; ha."

Emilia was still dehydrated in her camp. "I don't feel too good." Emilia said. "Well, you did good in the challenge." Patricia smiled. "you're not totally gone." She frowned.

*~* (Between Patricia, Jasmine, and Leticia) "I think the females should be aligned. The males are usually picking off weak people; and they would definitely vote a female off first. If we stick together; then who knows…maybe we can beat them." Jasmine suggested. "Yeah…but who'd we vote for first? I want Jacob gone, but not now. He could be useful. If we lose another he can go." Patricia pointed out. "Well, they'd go for Emilia to get the boot first." Leticia said. "Yeah. So, we'd prolly pick Arnie or…" Jasmine paused. "Arnie or Sean." She said. "Sean? Nah." Leticia said. "Well, than that leaves Arnie or William…" Jasmine said. "Right. William, I'd say." Leticia said. "Hmm…I think Arnie." Patricia said. "Well, Emilia is voting with us, right?" Leticia asked. "Yep." Jasmine smiled. Leticia smiled back.

*~* (Between William and Jacob)
"So, who are you voting for?" William asked Jacob. "Dunno. But I heard there was a female alliance goin' on." He smiled. "What?" William asked, confused. "Yeah. I heard there was a female alliance." Jacob smiled. "Ohhhh." William said. "And who gave you that idea?" William was curious. "Leticia." Jacob said. "How'd Leticia find out?" William asked. "Think about it. She's a female, haha." Jacob said, sarcastically.
"Point taken." William said, dryly. "Would Leticia vote with us?" William asked. "Probably. It's hard to say, really." Jacob said, grinning. William grinned back.

Ingenio Tribe
"WOOHOO!" Ryan screamed. "Guys, we are soooo good! We won both challenges!" Evelyn pointed out, lighting a match. "WOOHOO!" Ryan grinned; sheepishly.

As the rest of the tribe partied…strategy was going on. Tamara, Evelyn, David, and Kelly were strategizing. It was clear they had an alliance; and the others were getting worried.

=()=David "There's always that thought in your mind of, whoa! They're strategizing without me over there…or, wow!, I can't believe they're not including ME in there! But, I resist temptation, since I clearly have an alliance. And a strong one, at that. The game is going interestingly…what's the word I'm looking for…it's going to be interesting, at least."
