DAY 19

Ingenio Tribe

=()=Sean “I’m pretty happy to see William have gone. If it wasn’t William, it was I. And I definitely WOULD NOT like that.”

=()=Jasmine “I’m kind of glad Will was gone. He’s an ass.”

=()=Leticia “I wasn’t really too surprised by the vote last night. I think we’re retarded for hitting the merge 5-5, and Evelyn knowing who has votes. I guess we’re kind of screwed.”

=()=Evelyn “I’m kind disappointed in the end result. I really didn’t expect Sean to be voted off, but I still had my fingers crossed. Oh well… what can you do, right?”

It was a dull nineteenth day. Everyone seemed to be depressed.
As most of the other mornings were always dull, this morning was different.

Maybe it was the fact that the tribes were merging? Who knew? Not them. Out of all of them, Evelyn seemed to be the most depressed.

=()=Evelyn “I’m itchy… I’m bored, and I miss my family. This really sucks… I would hate to be here another three days. It’s just that… it doesn’t seem like it’s worth anything anymore. I feel as if maybe I’m missing something in this whole experience… yeah, the million dollars is nice, but I want me to be more than someone looking for money…”

Jasmine noticed Evelyn. “What’s wrong Evie?” She asked. Evelyn shrugged. “I don’t know. This doesn’t seem like a game anymore… it’s more like hell.” Evelyn shrugged again, as Jasmine patted her on the back. “It’ll be okay. There isn’t that many days left. Twenty, at the most.” Jasmine smiled, as Evelyn rolled her eyes. “There are too many days left, if you ask me.” Evelyn got up and laid down on the mattress she made out of big leaves.

She looked up, and then sighed.

=()=Jasmine “I think this whole experience is eating away at Evelyn. She’s been really depressed and down lately, and hasn’t been eating anything. I’m actually surprised she hasn’t fainted yet.”

Orgullo Tribe

The sun came up as Tamara sprayed some OFF! on herself. Ryan woke up, and approached her. “Hey.” He smiled. Tamara glared at him for a moment. “We’re merging. A whole new game!” Tamara said. “I realized that…” Ryan laughed. “I hope Evelyn wasn’t voted off…” Yawned Kyle. “Morning, hun.” Tamara said, hugging Kyle. “Thanks.” He smiled. “Who do you think went then?” asked Patricia, who was eavesdropping. “Hey Pat.” Tamara said. Patricia nodded. “I’m gonna say Jasmine.” Emilia smiled, as she got up. “I dunno. I’m thinking Sean or William.” Patricia said.

=()=Emilia “Patricia’s so stupid. I said JASMINE because I knew she hadn’t gotten any votes… but she goes ahead and says the two people she know will have votes. She’s such a god damned idiot…”

*~* (Kyle, Kelly, Tamara, Ryan)
“Okay. If Evelyn is voted off, then it’s just us four. Should we try to get Patricia? I know Orgullo doesn’t really like her… and I’m pretty sure she would join up with us.” Tamara said. Kelly shrugged. “I don’t know about that idea. I’m pretty sure Evelyn stayed in; and I’m sure she’d want to join up with us. She would HAVE to know who has votes, and then we could just simply vote that way. It’s better than playing Patricia.” Kelly said. “What if Evelyn isn’t there though?” Kyle asked. “Or worse than that, what if she’s aligned with the Orgullo?” he asked again. Ryan spoke up this time. “I say we just find out if she’s here or not when we merge. It’ll be soon enough, so we should all just have some patience.” Ryan said.

=()=Ryan “In our little alliance chat, it seems like they’re all paranoid. I personally do not want to vote tribal lines… but I’ve made it this far with Ingenio, it’ll be kinda hard to actually not vote with them. I know the million dollars is at stake here… and God, I’d love to have it… but I don’t know if I really would like to vote with my Ingenio Tribe mates. I love them to death and all… but standing them for that long? Ugh.”

=()=Patricia “I’m not really sure where I stand, when it comes to tribal lines. I know I’d enjoy voting with Orgullo… but I also know I can’t stand any one of them, except for Jacob. I know that I want Emilia and Sean out… and I know that I want them out as soon as possible. Now, if I just apply what I know with what I need… I’ll be fine.”

Ingenio Tribe

Evelyn and Jasmine decided to get the tree-mail.

*~* (Evelyn, Jasmine)
“Hey, do you think you’d want to align with Orgullo?” Jasmine asked, not beating around the bush whatsoever. “I don’t think I would like that. I promised my allegiance to Ingenio… and I’m pretty sure I’m going to stick with that allegiance. Is that all right?” Evelyn asked. “Yep. I was just seeing if you’d actually want to align with us. I figured you didn’t… but that’s okay. I was just saying because you know which one of us has votes…” Jasmine said. “Are you worried that I might tell them to vote you off?” Evelyn asked. “Yeah… I guess.” She said. “But, that shouldn’t matter… you don’t even want to be here, right?” Jasmine asked. Evelyn shook her head. “Whoever said that gets my vote.” Evelyn smiled. “I’m still ready to play the game. The day I’m voted off is the day I stop playing.” Evelyn smiled again, as Jasmine’s eyes widened. “Oh, looksie, tree-mail!” Evelyn said.

=()=Evelyn “Jasmine’s a bit too paranoid for my liking. I understand paranoia is a natural effect of hitting a merge with votes, but it’s actually to a point where it’s ridiculous. REALLY ridiculous.”

When Evelyn and Jasmine returned with the tree-mail, the eager Sean and Leticia greeted them. “It’s time for the merge…
But we’re not there yet.
Endurance you’ll have…
Immunity you’ll get.
Take all the pain…
And absorb it in.
And you’ll make the jury…
And possibly win.”

Orgullo Tribe

“Everyone, we’re merging!!!!” Tamara yelled. They all cheered… except for Patricia. Patricia knew that if she didn’t win Immunity, the chances of her demise meeting her were great.

*~* (Patricia, Emilia)
“Emilia.” Patricia said. Emilia listened. “I know we haven’t been the best of friends.. but I need some reassurance. Are you going to vote me off come the merge?” Patricia asked. Emilia shrugged. “I really don’t know. Seems like it though, doesn’t it?” She asked. Patricia nodded. “Why do you think I’m asking?” Patricia said. “I don’t know. But you definitely should watch out. I’m not personally going to sway votes against you… but if the shoe fits, I’ll vote for you.” Emilia smiled. “Sorry.” She said, this time sounding more reassuring. “It’s okay. I understand.” Patricia smiled and walked off.

=()=Emilia “Oh, she’s definitely paranoid… and I love it!”

=()=Patricia “Emilia has too much power. She better watch her back.”
