2. Each FNBL Team Manager will have to sign 8 NBL players to contracts while conforming to a salary cap set at $1,000,000. 1. Each FNBL Team Manager will allocated a FNBL team franchise. Adelaide 36ers - Christian - C Diddy Brisbane Bullets - Matthew - Tux Cairns Taipans - Ben - Canberra Cannons - Sam - Sammy Melbourne Tigers - Marius - M and M's, M squared, Eminem, Marshall Mathers, Slim Perth Wildcats - Aaron - Azza, AJ, A Train, WINDER Sydney Kings - Ross - Rossco P Coltrane Townsville Crocs - Jiun Victoria Giants - Tom - TOMMEH! West Sydney Razors - Roger - Dodge Wollongong Hawks - Dean - Deano 2. Each FNBL Team Manager will have to sign 8 NBL players to contracts while conforming to a salary cap, set at $1,000,000 3. Each team MUST be comprised of 2 guards, 2 forwards, 1 centre, and 3 substitues of any position, and one NBL coach. (Maximum of 2 imports per roster) 4. The Commissioner will host a player draft to decide who plays for what team, this can be done online via email, a chat room or offline by everyone submitting in order the players they'd like to select from highest to lowest priority. The order of the draft will be decided by drawing team managers names from a hat, after the first round of 11 picks has been conducted, the order will be reversed so that the person who picked 1st will next pick 22nd, and whoever picked 11th, will also pick 12th etc...... Included for selection in the draft are coaches, they do NOT command a salary and as such do NOT count against your cap, however they can earn your team bonus points. For every WIN your coach gets during the NBL season, you multiply your corresponding FNBL points by 1.10 and thats your FNBL total. 5. The way the league will be scored is on a total points based system that is worked out by: Pts + Reb + Ast + Stl + Blk - FG missed - FT missed - TO's. Example: If you are the Perth Wildcats and you draft Shane Heal, and Heal scored 25 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists, 0 blocks, misses 13 field goals, misses 2 free throws and had 4 turnovers, his score would be: 17. 6. You will nominate 5 players (2 guards, 2 forwards and 1 centre) from your 8 man squad for each game of the season, these 5 players ONLY, will be able to score points for your team in that designated week/round/game. Teams must be submitted on the Tuesday before each round unless otherwise notified. Failure to do this will result in a forfeit. (Your team loses the match AND you do NOT get your players stats awarded to your score) 7. It will be the responsibility of EVERY team manager to collate the stats for the players on their respective NBL team and forward them onto the Commissioner so he may collate the stats for the FNBL teams. Example: If you are the Perth Wildcats, but do not have a REAL Wildcat on you FNBL team, it is still your responsibility to collate the actual stats of any Perth Wildcats NBL game. Stats have to be in by Tuesday night unless otherwas notified, failure to do so will hamper the league greatly, if you can NOT get your stats done, ensure you have organised for someone else to do so for you! 8. To determine the winner over the course of the season, whenever your respective NBL team plays a match, you in fact are playing their NBL opponent head to head in FNBL, so if Perth plays Townsville in the NBL, they are alse playing in the FNBL, and the team who's accumulative stats for that round is greater wins the game. 9. Teams are permitted to trade players however there will be strict rules outlining what will be deemed acceptable trades. There will be no trade deadline at this time, however the league reserves the right to alter any such rule throughout the season in conjunction with it's member clubs. 9.a FREE AGENCY - With any player in Free Agency, you can buy them at their "player value" at anytime you wish. Otherwise, you can bid for them. This is how it works, if your tempted to save a little bit of cash, you can bid for a player. If a player is listed at $175,000 the minimum you can bid on him is $150,000, same for a player at $150,000 minimum you can bid is $125,000. So basically the lowest you can bid on a player is $25,000 off his listed price, what happens know is that you notify the FNBL ([email protected]) and the FNBL will send out a press release to say that a player has been "bidded" on and everyone has 24 hours to beat the bid, if you desperatey want that player. 10. Should a team suffer an injury or a player is struggling for form, you will be permitted to drop them and sign a free agent, this will be done via the WAIVER PRIORITY. (Reverse order to that of the draft order) 11. At season's end, the winner will be determined by having the most wins, in the event of a tie, a tie breaker will be introduced, this will be by seeing who won the head to head series and in the event that this does not split the teams, we will on points for and points against, if that still doesnt seperate them, we'll toss a freakin coin!. 12. Should a manager have an import player on his roster and the said player is cut mid season, the manager may retain a vacant position on his roster and should the import be replaced, said team manager may sign him for the same salary the old import was on disregarding the waiver priority. HOWEVER, you may NOT trade that vacant import spot from your roster and his salary still counts against your cap once cut meaning you have no extra salary cap to spend on other players. Should and Australian player become injured and is replaced by an import, this rule does not apply. |
