"Class dismissed," Lina finally heard the faithful words she had been waiting for for the past hour or so. Then, she heard the many rampaging footsteps of the eager juniors charging out of the training center. Lina sat there and waited for Zell to move, but it appeared that he was taking a while, so she sat and enjoyed the gentle breeze that was somewhat muffled by the suffocated air of the small and humid training center. A few minutes later she heard Zell walking by slowly, as if thinking to himself; he had taken time to gather together his materials and head out.
Lina's shoe gave way and she almost fell down, but she suddenly caught the branch in time, although to her horror she let out a small squeal and the branches russled around violently for that one second. Zell looked around suspiciously, but he didn't spot anything. He shrugged it off, assuming it was just another monster in the trees, and walked out of the training center. Lina hopped down from the tree and smiled. She wasn't caught, almost, but wasn't.
Lina felt a hot mist on her back then and she turned around slowly and cautiously only to find a huge T-Rexaur breathing down at her. Its huge jaws were drooping lowly onto the ground to where Lina was standing and as it breathed out its humid and hot mist, she could feel herself sinking under its red eyed gaze of horror. It roared once, long and loud, plunging its thick versatile head into the air to challenge Lina and lunged at her immediately.
She jumped back and just escaped it by a strand of her long black hair. She could feel the air rush by her as she struggled to dodge yet another attack of the giant creature. It lunged again and this time it got her arm. The top of her left arm was not covered in blood from came from a big cut on her arm.
"Agh," Lina shuddered at the thought of losing more blood than she already had lost. Slowly she formed a white sphere in her hand and bounced it up and down like a rubber ball. "You wanna dance? Bring it," she provoked it. The T-Rexaur dived down at her with his sharp teeth.
