Chapter Eight

She jumped up and met it in mid air. With her right hand she threw the white ball at the T-Rexaur's face. It got caught in between it's teeth and pushed it down with a great force. The T-Rexuar roared with immense hatred as the small white ball which was seemingly powerless against this massive monster was pressed against merely its mouth and it fell backwards to the ground in a great uproar of growls, dust, and pieces of flying grass from the its ground splitting crash onto the dirt and the patch of sprouting grass.

Lina stepped back and caught the white sphere which had rebounded off the back of its mouth when it fell. The little ball sunk into her skin as soon it had made contact with the tip of her fingernails and made her outline glow a bright white. The T-Rexuar roared loudly and it sprung back up, an angry, vengeful glare in its malicious, lurid, blood-shot eyes. Its thick, humid breath was visible in the misty air of the heated training center. This temperature was the only temperature that would manage to keep the monsters of the training center satisfied and continuing to fight at their best condition.

Lina jumped to the T-Rexuar's side and kicked it using the bottom of her sharp boots with all of her might. The T-Rexaur seemed to sway a moment from the powerful blow and its balance was certainly off, but it was pushed along the ground forcefully as Lina continued to exert force and pressure with simply the sharp heel of her shoes.

It finally stood up after a moment lying on the ground of the half destroyed waste that had once been just growing green gass and thrashed out at her again, biting, chewing, and gnarling at her every movement, her every dodge of its own attack. When the T-Rexuar would bite at her arm, she would pull it away purposely at the last second then, lift her arm and elbow the T-Rexuar down upon its head. If it went for her leg, she would counter its attack with a high kick, beating it away with the side of her foot forcefully. After she had avoided the majority of its attacks, she jumped on top of its head, her body still glowing white as a light bulb. Everytime her arm went back for another blow, she threw back with her the light emitted from her outline--a silver wing emphasizing her every movement.

She jerked the heel of her boot onto the top of its skull and with one last loud, but fading roar the T-Rexaur fell to the ground, suddenly rendered unconscious. It wasn't dead, but those high heel boots were enough to knock anyone out for at least an hour or so, including monsters and other creatures and fiends out there.

"I don't wear high heels for nothing," she smiled to herself, patting the side of her boots contently, but there was someone else there too. She heard someone clapping behind her. She turned around and saw a blond haired boy with emerald green eyes. "Seifer."
