The only other Max Steel villainess is likewise a tried-and-true cliche: the seductive mistress of disguise. Her costume is absolutely hideous; therefore, I change it whenever I draw her. Hey, it's fan art - I can do that.

Well, I'm running out of Max Steel women now - there just aren't that many in such a "toys for boys" show. But Kat here is one of the good guys - er, girls - and the main reason I like her so much is she could probably beat Max at his own game.
That and the too-cool blue bangs. Rock on, sister!
She's friends with She-Ra and is only a mermaid when she feels like it, which is pretty cool. I drew this a year ago in pencil, went over it in pen, colored it with Prisma markers and then went crazy in Photoshop, adding all kinds of effects. I also got Shakespeare stuck in my head: "Full fathom five thy father lies..."
Unfortunately, I've since lost the Photoshop file.
