It was Friday night. JC was sitting in the restaurant waiting for Jenna to show. He had invited her to meet the guys. She had hesitated but he finally convinced her that it would be okay. He saw her walk through the door and his heart started pounding. When she arrived at the table JC stood up and kissed her on the cheek. Then he introduced her to his band mates. Jenna tried not to seem awkward around Justin and she pretended not to have met him before. Justin obviously didn't remember her though.
Throughout dinner they talked about everything from her being a fan to how the tour was going to Jenna's friends. As much as Jenna tried not to look at Justin she just couldn't help it and every time she looked he was looking at her. She wondered if he remembered who she was. After dinner Jenna excused herself to the restroom.
When she came back out Justin stopped her and said, "Do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar."
Jenna didn't know what to saw. Should she confess all of it, or just let it go? He obviously remembered her or thought he did but he probably didn't remember that night.
"Uh I don't believe so," Jenna replied deciding she wasn't going to tell him. But since she didn't tell him she had to get out of there and never came back. She walked back to the table to grab her purse, said goodbye, and walked out of the restaurant hoping that she would be alone but JC followed.
"What's the matter?" JC asked running after her.
"I have to go. I have to leave. I can't be here anymore," Jenna said quickly. She was crying now but she couldn't do this. She was pregnant with Justin's baby and going out with one of his best friends it would never work.
"What happened? Did I do something," JC asked but Jenna didn't reply.
She started to walk away but JC pulled her back, "It's not you. You did nothing. It's me. It's just complicated and I can't do this. I have to go."
"Don't leave, please don't leave," JC pleaded, "I'm falling in love with you and if I let you leave now I will never know where this is going to go. That's how complicated it is."
Jenna just stopped. He was falling in love with her. Her friends were right she couldn't let him go, but he could let her. Then she said softly, "I'm pregnant."
JC stepped back. He didn't see that one coming. He knew it wasn't his because they hadn't done anything. Seeing the shocked look on JC's face, Jenna took the opportunity to hail a cab. JC being so shocked he just let her go. He didn't know what else to do.
