Chapter 1
Justin hung up the phone and sat down at his table. He couldn't believe who was on the phone and what he just heard.
"How could she do this to me?" Justin asked himself aloud.
"Hi Stinky," Britney said as she walked into the room
Justin shook his head before he looked up at her. "Guess who just called me," he said with anger in his voice, "You were over there just now weren't you?"
"Who called you?" Britney asked as she walked over to get something out of the fridge.
"How could you do this?" Justin said quietly.
"Do what?" asked Britney now looking at Justin.
"That was Nick on the phone," Justin said matter-of-factly.
"What did he want?" Britney asked getting a little antsy.
"Oh he just had some information that he thought I should know," Justin replied his anger growing, "Is he better?"
"I don't know what you're talking about," Britney said shifting in her seat.
"Everybody warned me but I wouldn't listen, and now I know for sure. It came from his mouth," Justin shouted. He was raging now, "Just tell me the truth."
"Justin," Britney said uncomfortably, "nothing happened."
"You're lying to me," Justin yelled getting up so he was looking down at Britney, "just tell me the truth. You slept with him."
Britney didn't say a word. She was looking at the floor but she could feel Justin's eyes on her.
"Why?" Justin questioned, "Was I not good enough for you?"
"No," Britney answered quietly.
"Then why?" Justin screamed.
Britney didn't answer. Justin just shook his head and started pacing. Both remained silent for a few minutes before Britney spoke, "I love him."
Justin stopped; his back was facing opposite Britney.
"What?" Justin said turning around.
"I love him," Britney said more confidently.
Justin grabbed his keys and coat and walked out the door.
