[AJ’s
P.O.V.]
How
do I tell the bodyguards to come with me, but not to tell Kevin about it? If he
notices that I’m gone…ohhh…I better don’t even think about it. Where is
my bodyguard anyway? Oh shit! They all went clubbing! Damn! What am I going to
do now? Uhm…I’ll just go to Nick and try to convince him to come with me
back to the hotel. If he doesn’t…well…then we’re just going to sleep
there. Uhh…

AJ
crawled around the room and looked for his shoes. When he finally found them he
put on his jacked and went over to Nera’s room to tell her where he was going.
He knocked on the door. To AJ’s surprise Nera actually opened the door and
didn’t just tell him to piss off. “Hey…” she said.
“Uh…hey…uhm…I
just wanted to tell you that I’m going to the park to get Nicky. He’s still
there and refused to come back to the hotel…so…I have no choice. BUT don’t
tell anyone that I left for the park or else I’ll get killed…do you hear me?”
asked AJ.
“Yep…I
won’t tell a soul.” Said Nera and grinned a little bit.
“That’s
good…bye!” said AJ and walked down the hall to the elevator. He pressed the
button to the first floor. When he arrived there he went out and saw Kevin,
Kristin, Brian and Leighanne sitting in the café that was in the lobby.
“Oh
shit” whispered AJ to himself and hid behind a plant. Just then he saw a very
tall man walking by. The man didn’t look very friendly but AJ thought that the
man was his only chance to get out of this hotel.
“Excuse
me, Mister…could I hide behind you while you walk out of the hotel?” asked
AJ as polite as possible.
“Why
would you want to do that?” asked the man, thinking that AJ was a little bit
odd.
“See
those people over there?” asked AJ as he pointed at Kevin, Brian, Leighanne
and Kristin. The man nodded. “The two men are a part of a famous band, just as
I am. The problem is, that I need to get out of here but I don’t have my
bodyguards with me. That wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t for the guy with
the thick eyebrows. If he saw me walking out of the hotel he would kill me. And
I’m still so young. I don’t want to die!” said AJ truthfully.
The
man looked at him as if he was an alien. Then suddenly he laughed out loud and
said: “Okay, crazy boy. Hide behind me. I don’t want such a nice person as
you are to be killed.”
“Thank
you.” Said AJ, as he hid behind the man, while he was walking out.
Finally
out of the hotel he thanked the man about a thousand times and made his way to
the park. As he walked through the dark streets he thought: <<God…I’m
scared. I hope there won’t come a monster out of some corner…ahh…>>
When
he reached the park he felt a bit safer. At least there were some lights. He
walked through the park and looked for the tree Nick said he was sitting under.
[AJ’s
P.O.V.]
Why
kind of tree was it again? A birch? A poplar? Doesn’t matter…it’s still a
tree, isn’t it?
So…okay…I’ve
walked through this stupid park for 10 minutes now, and I still didn’t find
that damn tree. Okay, okay…I gibe up. I’ll just call Nicky.
[Call]
Nick:
“Yeah?”
AJ:
“Hey Nickers. It’s me. I don’t find your silly tree.”
Nick:
“It’s an oak tree.”
AJ: “uh
huh. Cool. And where is it?“
Nick:
“Right in front of you, silly! I can see you.”
Nick
stood up and waved.
Nick:
“see me?”
AJ:
“Yah. I’ll be there in a second.”
AJ
hung up and walked over to Nick who was obviously laughing his butt off.
“Not
funny.” Said AJ and pretend to be insulted.
“Yes
funny.” Said Nick but stopped laughing after a few minutes when he realized
something was missing. “Where are our body guards?” he asked.
“I
lost them.” Answered AJ. “You, what? You can’t loose bodyguards! They’re
big and…” Nick said.
“Shh…chill!
I was just kidding! Remember, they’re partying today!” said AJ.
“Oh…”
said Nick, then he thought about something, “how did you get out of the hotel.
Kevin didn’t let you, did he?”
“No,
of course not! I sneaked out. He doesn’t know. So…let’s go back to the
hotel, okay?” asked AJ.
“No.
I don’t want to. But you can go. I’m staying here.” Answered Nick.
“I
won’t go without you! Then I’ll stay with you, although I’m scared.”
Said AJ.
“You’re
scared?” asked Nick laughing. “Yeah. And it’s totally normal to be scared
when you’re out at night in some park you don’t know, are famous and don’t
have any body guards with you and your friend is gone nuts.” Answered AJ,
matter of factly.
“Alright,
AJ. Then…be scared…I don’t mind.” Said Nick and lay back on the ground.
AJ did the same.
“So…”
said AJ, “what’s going on between you and Nera? I thought everything was so
perfect and then BOOM! Nera runs past me with tears in her eyes and destroys my
little dream world.”
“Man…I
don’t even know it myself. It happened so fast. Before I could blink she was
gone.” Said Nick, looking sad.
“It’s
okay…” said AJ, “tell me the whole story, doesn’t matter how long it
takes, I won’t be able to sleep here anyway…so just tell me…maybe I can
help you.” said AJ.
