I Need you

{Chapter 6}

*~* I must be wishing on someone else's star because it seems like someone else is getting what I want.*~*

At the club the two of them went to the bar. Nick got a coke and Nera a sprite. They grinned at each other. Here they were in a club and drinking non-alcoholic drinks. Ever seen someone like that? After drinking their ‘drinks’ they went on the dance floor and danced like there was no tomorrow. After one hour Nick got tired and said: “I’ll go to the bar and get myself something to drink. You want something, too?” “No, I’ll just keep on dancing! But…come back when you got your power back, okay?” she asked. “Yeah, I will. See ya!” he said and walked over to the bar. He got himself another coke when he saw a girl coming his way. “Hey, you’re alone here?” she asked. “No, I’m here with my friend.” He said. “So…you don’t have a girlfriend?” the girl asked. “No…but I wish I was together with some girl I know.” Nick said. Just then Nera looked over to where Nick was and her heart sunk. He was with another girl. Talking to the girl. He forgot about her. Suddenly a guy approached Nera. “Hey” he said. “Hi” Nera said. And they danced together. Nera kept on looking over to where Nick was sitting and talking to the girl. << How come you have enough time to go out and make other girls fall in love with you but you don't have enough time for the girl who already does?>> she thought. Then she concentrated on the guy she danced with. After five minutes she looked over to the bar, again, but Nick was gone. <<Oh my god.>> thought Nera and felt the tears well up in her eyes. <<No, I won’t cry when I can have fun!>> she thought, smiled at the guy she was dancing with and started talking to him.

When Nick came back from the bathroom he saw Nera closely dancing with a guy to a slow song. Suddenly he felt sick. He sat back on the bar and watched the two of them. After a while looking at them he noticed the girl he talked to earlier sitting next to him again. “Hey…why are you looking so sad?” she asked. He ignored her question and said: “Have you ever noticed that the worst way to miss someone is when they are right beside you and yet you can never have them?” The girl looked at Nick with sad eyes then at the crowd following Nick’s stare. Then her eyes noticed a girl, dancing with a guy. “Is it her? The girl dancing with the black haired guy?” “Yeah…” Nick said and sighed. “I’m sorry.” The girl said.
