I Need you

*~*Losing
the one you love hurts ... some people say that you'll get over that person
easily ... but it really isn't easy especially when that person you love was
someone you never had*~*
“I
should’ve known…” Nick said to the girl. “What do you mean?” she asked.
“It’s too late. I didn’t tell her I loved her when I had a chance to and
now she falls for another guy. Do you see how she looks at him and the way she
laughs? Why does he make her fall for him head over heels and I can’t even
make her stumble…?” Nick asked. “Love has its own way. You can’t tell
your heart whom to love. It decides on its own and there's nothing you can do
about it.” Said the girl. “Always when I think things between us are getting
a little bit better something happens and my heart breaks again. How long will
it take till my heart is broken so often…that the pieces are so small that you
could say it became dust?” Nick amazed the girl. How could a girl who knew him
and was his friend not love him? He was so sweet, so sensitive and such a deep
thinker and the best thing…he wasn’t a player. He really loved. And if he
was in love with somebody he was in love so deep that you wouldn’t get him out
of there…no matter how hard you tried. “I can’t believe that she doesn’t
love you…how do you know if you didn’t ask her?” the girl asked Nick.
“Because just a few hours ago it seemed like she didn’t want to be my friend
anymore. I don’t know. She confuses me a lot.” Said Nick and looked on the
ground, then back to Nera and her new friend.
Nera
had a great time with the guy. She told him so much about her and Nick. The guy
always made jokes so she could smile but when she looked over to the bar and saw
Nick sitting there, again, with the saddest look ever on his face, her smile
faded. He looked like it hurt him to see her with another guy. Earlier that day
he hadn’t kissed her when he had a chance to and know he looked heartbroken.
Now she was confused. Then she noticed the girl, sitting next to him. It was the
girl he had been talking with earlier. The girl looked at her with the same sad
look, then to Nick, then back to her. She wondered what Nick told the girl.
When
Nick looked at Nera again he saw her laughing at something the guy said then
looking at him and stopping smiling. “Did you see that?” Nick asked the girl.
“Yeah…” the girl said. “Now, you know why I’m so confused. One minute
she likes me, the other minute she stops smiling when she sees me.” He said.
“Maybe she stopped smiling because you look so sad?!” the girl suggested.
“Oh didn’t think about that! Thank you. I hope that’s the reason.” Nick
said, a little bit happier now. “Come on, let’s dance!” the girl said when
‘For my people’ by Missy Elliot came on. “Alright.” Said Nick and went
with her on the dance floor.
Nera
saw Nick and the girl come on the dance floor. After the both danced a while it
seemed like Nick was saying something to Nera without any sound. She tried to
read his lips. She read: “You don't know what you do to me, you don't have a
clue. You can't tell what it is like to be me looking at you.” Now she was
even more confused. She really seemed to not want her to dance with Josh (the
guy). But she liked Josh. So she kept on dancing with him.
After
Nick had said the words quietly Nera had looked at him with a confused look on
her face. Nick thought that she didn’t understand him, so he just kept on
dancing. When he glanced over to her again he saw her kissing the guy on the
cheek. He startled. The girl noticed that and turned around and saw Nera kiss
Josh on the cheek, too and said: “I feel your hurt. You’re not alone. I can
imagine how you feel right now.” Nick just laid his head on her shoulder and
felt the tears roll down his cheek, slowly. “I have to get out of here. I
can’t cry in front of all these people.” He said. “Just let’s go to the
bar, again.” The girl, Julie, said.
