Share tutoring strategies with parents to foster a partnership between school and home! This is a hands-on workshop with creative, practical ideas. You will learn how to work with parents to help them become actively and positively involved in their children's learning. You'll discover how to share tutoring strategies that enhance children's learning in reading, writing, math science, spelling, and social studies. You will also have a chance to work with other participants to share favorite strategies, to devise new ones that fit your curriculum goals, and to plan a family involvement program that addresses the needs of your community (pre-K-9). |
