| A.F.I.- A Fire Inside: Davey Havok- Vocals/Lyrics Jade Puget- Guitar Hunter- Bass Adam Carson- Drums A.F.I. originated about ten years ago as a garage band in Ukiah, California (San Francisco area), and has since propelled itself to being a widely-known professional band. They have more punk roots, sounding almost like an early Offspring, although lately (Black Sails, Sing the Sorrow era) they have been delving more into poetic and melodic music. You may have heard "The Leaving Song, pt. II" or "Silver and Cold" on the radio- the more mainstream of their work. Either way, they never fail to invoke a chorus in my soul and in my mind. I can only hope that they continue their work in the future. |
