This useful site www.theyr.net. gives detailed information on wind, precipitation and temperature. A reasonable scale can be selected and predictions are given on an hour-by-hour basis for the next 3-days.
This site www.bramblemet.co.uk/default.shtm is particularly useful for anyone sailing in the Central Solent as it provides comprehensive weather conditions, both real-time and historically, direct from the Bramble Pile roughly equidistant from Calshot, Cowes, and Hill Head.
