Purpose Provides members an opportunity to meet other parents, share resources, and provide social interaction for our children. Responsibilities Playgroups meet at the same time each week, and members take turns hosting the group. Playgroups consist of children from four to seven parents. Playgroups also take turns sponsoring the monthly MOMS Club Meetings, and organize activities and events for the rest of the club. Each playgroup plans at least two activities for the month, and helps set-up, clean-up, and provide refreshments at the monthly meeting. See Playgroup Checklist. Also, a Multi-age Playgroup meets on a monthly basis, as a transition group for new members until they are established in regular playgroups or simply to meet others.
