Monday April 29, 2002 this is my last day here I will be going home tomorrow. Last night, after I went to sleep Thomas must have packed up for he was gone when I arose this morning. Mr. Crow was here as he was the one who woke me up in his usual manner!!! "Caw caw," said the crow awakening me out of my dreamland with his loud, shrill voice. The chill in the air made me stay inside my sleeping bag this morning. I waited for the warmth of the sun's rays to come up over the mountain before getting my self out. Dragging out of my bag I put on my warm poncho, started a fire, and picked up my towel. Something interesting was on it, a black & white caterpillar something I have never seen before in my life, so beautiful! It was near 10 am and I was thinking of going back home with him when he comes today. The reason I came out here was to draw close to Great Spirit get away from the TV, cats, trucks, and everyday life!! I need a break for my sanity in an insane out of control world! Waking up to the sounds of nature such as, the soothing ripples rushing over the hard brown rocks was music to my ears. The birds singing their joyful songs, a fire crackling, and the trees whispering in the wind my mind is at peace and I am ready to face the world again!!! Now I have a better perspective to appreciate life, love, and my family. Right now I am feeling good; no negativity around me, me being able to absorb positive energy is so sweet like honey in a cup of red clover tea! Life is so nice out here that I don't want to go back home as I have said before. The reason I do go back is because my family and cats depend on me and I love them! What a beautiful warm day it is! I ran around naked like a wood nymph enjoying the freedom of expression in my body, free I am, I know who I am. Well I heard a car so I quickly dressed; Sal came walking down the trail he hugged and kissed me. We spent a few hours together before he left for the house. After leaving I went for a walk down by the inlet where I watched 3 butterflies on the beach only a few feet away from them they laid there with their wings open. Adventuring into the woods I found a really nice spot I would like to come back to next year. well it is 3pm and I am sitting on some rocks between 2 small falls the sounds soothing to my soul and body! I went swimming in the inlet I felt like a fish in water right at home! I love water and waterfalls being drawn to water all my life! It got into the evening hours and I went up stream to another set of small waterfalls there I set on my special rock from last yr.. Here I closed my eyes, meditated for a while than opened my eyes. I asked to see the aura of the trees and as I concentrated I began to see what looked like rain to me, it was the energy (aura) of the trees as if they were breathing in and out. This was amazing for me as this was the first time I had seen the energy (aura) of the trees. I walked back to camp and built the grandest fire since arriving there since this is my last night there. It truly was a great fire and I prayed to Great Spirit for the wonderful beautiful experience I have had these 4 days here. Day 4 has come and gone tomorrow back to reality!!!
