Crow Medicine
Great Spirit gave me this Medicine.
This is my story this is my song. Yearly I go on a Vision Quest usually in April. This year I went to a Psychic fair and this lady came up to me and said she would give me a reading for a pair of earrings so I did. As she was describing my spirit guides she said I had Crow medicine something I knew nothing about really. So I thought this women was a little off base and dismissed what she told me. Two weeks later I prepared for the quest and spent 4 days in the wilderness. Here is what transpired: first I set up my tarp, cleaned up the grounds of the garbage, placed my water in the stream to stay cool, and than sage the area and rocks I retrieved from the babbling brook. Next I sage my self and did a Medicine Wheel ceremony as I placed them down on Mother Earth offering up prayers and singing to the four directions. My quest was that Great Spirit would reveal to me my path to walk in this life. The funny thing was when I arrived earlier that morning there was a crow up in the tree above where I was going to build the Wheel. Little did I know at this time that the Crow was about to change my life.
