| F.A.Q. 01. Did Falkenbach play any gigs as far? - So far Falkenbach did never play any live shows. 02. Will Falkenbach play any live shows in the future? - Vratyas Vakyas managed to find a couple of adequate session members for eventual live shows. So maybe sooner or later you will be able to visit a Falkenbach gig. 03. Is any tour planned? - At the moment some plans exist for one or two single gigs. Those are not meant for a greater audience, but would take place at rather small clubs. Maybe more shows will follow later, nevertheless there are no plans yet. 04. Are there other members beside Vratyas Vakyas involved in Falkenbach? - The only session musicians ever involved in Falkenbach appear on the new album. Boltthorn, Hagalaz and Tyrann. 05. Who are those session members that appear on the new Falkenbach album? - Boltthorn, Hagalaz and Tyrann all the members of the band Vindsval, and appear as guest musicians on "Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty" and "Heralding - The Fireblade" 06. What is Skaldic Art Prod.? - Skaldic Art Productions is thet label of Vratyas Vakyas. At the moment SAP is put on ice. 07. Why isn't any of the Falkenbach albums released through Skaldic Art Prod.? - Skaldic Art Prod. was founded to support young and talented bands. Signing Falkenbach to Skaldic Art Prod. would lead to the fact that less young bands could get a chance to get signed by Vratyas Vakyas' label due to financial reasons and a lack of time. 08. What is the real name of Vratyas Vakyas? - this is no interest at all. 09. What does Vratyas Vakyas mean? - It means something like "the searching wanderer" and symbolises two levels of Vatan, a philosophy of live based on Asatru. 10. Is Vratyas Vakyas of Icelandic origin? - This is no interest at all. 11. Are there any demos of Falkenbach available? - There are 9 tapes all in all. All were strictly limited to nine copies only, as they were not mentioned for a greater audiende. The only exceptions are Laeknishendr, which was released in 95' and send out to a couple of fanzines and people who odered it, and the tape called Promo 95' through No Colours Rec, None of the tapes can be ordered neither through Skaldic Art nor Falkenbach directly. The only demo song ever released unlimited was Winternight on the NCR-Compilation II. 12. What is the story to the "Fireblade" album? - "The Fireblade" was some sort of working-title, and it was meant to be the debut album of Falkenbach. During the recording it became obvious that the quality of the studio wasn't sufficient to record an album there, and therefore the recordings were stopped.. The rough versions contain e-guitars as well as most acoustic guitars, most of the keyboards and some vocals. 13. Why the resease of "Heralding - The Fireblade" in 2005? - It was meant to be re-recorded and released in 2004 for the 15 years anniversary of Falkenbach. Due to several reasons was delayed and released about one year later than expected. 14. Why did the song "The Heralder" not appear on any of the albums? - The Heralder wes recorded in between the 1st and 2nd album, and was meant to be the opener for Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri. Unfortunately the final result was not as good as the song could have become, and therefore Vratyas decided to not put it on the Magni Blandinn... album. It was given to No Colours for free, and they used it for the NCR Compilation I as well as for a limited LP version. Originaly it was meant to be a part of the Fireblade album in 1995 in a different version. 15. Are there vinyl versions of the albums? - Yes, the 1st album was released as a Pic-LP including the track "The Heralder", limited to 500 copies, as well as on gatefold LP format, limited to 500 copies. Both are sold out. The 2nd album Magni Blandinn..., was released through Skaldic Art on LP format limited to 1000 copies. Some copies of this item are still left and for sale through Skaldic Art Prod and some other distributions. The 3rd album was released on LP via Napalm Rec. in limited edition. The LP version for the new album Heralding - The Fireblade is for sure, but so far we do not know who will release it. 16. Were any photos of Vratyas Vakyas published ever? - There was a photo included in the 1st album's booklet. The whole booklet suffered from a lack of quality, so the booklet was changed with the 2nd edition of the debut CD. Beside that a couple of photos were created and released during the "Ok Nefna" period. |
