| Week 35 7/7/02 - 7/13/02 |
| It's baby shower time!!!! My shower was wonderful!!!! It was at a beautiful restaurant/banquet place... the food was really good and they had the room decorated so nice with flowers and balloons... (my house now has vases of flowers all over... so pretty!!) We played a few fun games and had a nice time. Everyone was so generous!!! We got a TON of clothes!!!! (I hope she gets to where them all!!) and also most of the things from our registry!!!! There are really only a few things we need to get and we are set!!!! It was a little bittersweet. It was hard not to think of Faith and how this all should have happened last year. But for the most part I was able to put my emotions aside and enjoy the day! I was really touched by the work that everyone put into it for us. The baby has been doing well and some days I have really come to believe that she is trying to escape through my abdomen!!!!! I have been noticing that I am not feeling so many "kicks" anymore... it is becoming more of a pushing... like she is pushing against my stomach... It is so funny because I will be laying down... and will see one half of my stomach raise up... stay like that for a minute and then go back down...and then she'll push somewhere else and my body looks all lopsided... it's like she enjoys distorting the shape of my stomach! Very cute! Since the baby has been doing well and I am getting to the end of the pregnancy, I decided to call and find out what my billing date is for my doppler... that way I could return it before my new cycle and not have to pay for a month where I won't need it anymore. Well after calling I realized that I just can't do it!!!! What if I need it?? What if something happens?? I guess I will just have to pay for a couple of weeks after the baby comes because I just can't part with it! |
