The movie was great! It was the first time I'd watched it too (my sister gave away the ending beforehand though, so I wasn't taken completely unawares). At times like a courtroom drama, at times a completely charming period piece, the film portrayed the characters so well. Its amazing how the lives of the saints can seem so bewilderingly brave and yet when you take a better look you can see how human they are. In some ways these extraordinary lives make more sense than our own. Think about it, God is the best thing we know.
