Shiite Pilgrims Worship at Karbala Shrine
There is so much work to be done in Iraq. There is electricity and water to be restored. There is refuse to be collected. There are schools and universities to be re-opened. There are hospitals to be replenished and roads and buildings to be repaired. 

So, what do the Shiite faithful do at a time like this? They go on a pilgrimage in their thousands, beat themselves on the chest, whip their backs with chains and cut their foreheads to bleed. 

Religion is still the opium of people!
