All You Really Need to Know I am known to most as Tammy (my name means perfect heart!), but in the past I have assumed many aliases: Tams, Tamsta, Mowie, Pip, Pippilotta and Tammy-Toodle-Pip, to name a few. P likes to call me his Pixie Princess. It's the best nickname I've ever had. I live in a house with P (hubby), 2 fish, a lot of snails (in the fish tank), and a resident lizard (who we would rather not share the house with at all). One day we will manage to get rid of the lizard, and populate the house with babies instead! I am a "homemaker" (no, I don't build houses!) and piano teacher by day. And by night too! One day I would love to sell crafty stuff I make. One day. Other Random Useless Facts One of my biggest challenges in life is having more ideas in my head than time on my hands. I am an ideas person, and I am always coming up with things I want to do, see, read, taste etc. I know I will not live long enough to do it all, but I am certainly going to try. I have a �Cheer Up Charlie� box (I love Willy Wonka!). When I am feeling blue, I pull it out, and read over cards people have sent me, funny jokes and pictures, text messages P has sent me. It always makes me smile. When the following songs come on the radio, I have to sing along: Sweet Home Alabama, Love Shack, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Bohemian Rhapsody and My Sharona. I'm allergic to cats. I used to collect shoes, until I got a mortgage. My dream job would be something where I could be creative, have plenty of time for my family, and occasionally dress up in a power suit. Attending fancy balls and charity events would be a bonus. If such a job exists, please tell me. I�ve never believed in love at first sight, although I am sure I will once I have children. Things I Love Christmas� you get to eat lots of good food with your family and then sleep all afternoon, only to get up and eat lots of good food again� oh and you also get presents! Wearing business stuff and power suits. Unfortunately I am yet to find a corporate job I enjoy Alias� I think Jennifer Garner has an awesome job. She gets to do all that cool spy stuff without actually being in danger. She gets to dress up all the time! I miss my fat-J who used to come over and watch Alias with me on Tuesdays. When the next season comes on, it won�t be quite the same without her. Love you fat-J! Games. Board games and card games and dominos and anything else you care to teach us how to play. The smell of fresh baked brownies, cucumber melon body lotion, and bushfires (strange, I know). I love to eat summer fruits, fresh hot bread, Peanut Butter Brownies, chewy choc chip cookies, gelato and Baskin & Robbins Hokey Pokey ice cream. Disney movies, my two favourites being The Lion King and The Little Mermaid, followed closely by Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. I also love old musicals (State Fair, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Oklahoma!) Reading - it makes up a good chunk of my adventure list. Holidays. Just getting out of the usual routine. P is always more relaxed and we can just slow down and enjoy life. Long walks on the beach in the middle of the night, followed by dinner and then a gelato - what more could you want? Collecting things. Little Books, quotes, recipes. I am a human bower bird (but all my stuff doesn't have to be blue!). |
