The Tea Series, by Telanu
I'm aware that most everyone has probably read The Tea Series by now, but I'm recommending it nonetheless. It is Harry/Snape, and it's wonderful. I linked to Telanu's main fiction page, and you can find all parts of The Tea Series there. My favorite is A Wizard's Song, but you should read the other four parts before you read that. Telanu does a fantastic job characterizing Harry and Severus, and you'll love it. Trust me.
A Bittersweet Potion, by Alchemia and Bugland
Another great Harry/Snape story. This is actually the first Snarry story I ever read. Harry gets a special gift in which he can turn into animals, and he turns into a cat. Severus happens to stumble upon a cat that he takes in as his pet around the same time. I'm sure you can figure out what that could mean. It's wonderfully written, and extremely believable. I recommend it highly; it is, by far, one of my favorites. Multi-chapter.
Irresistible Poison, by Rhysenn
This is the first Harry/Draco slash that I ever read. It's very popular, and most people have read it, but it definitely lives up to its great reputation. Draco accidentally brews a love potion and falls in love with Harry, and of course, quiet madness ensues. A wonderful multi-chapter story.
Too Wise to Woo Peaceably, by JayKay
Please go to JayKay's warning page first.
I am in love with this story. It's short, and has a sequel as well which you can find at JayKay's site. Hogwarts is holding a play of Much Ado About Nothing, and of course, since it is Shakespearian tradition, it's acted out with all males. Beatrice is played by Harry, and Benedict by Snape. It's really great. It's one of those stories that you read, and then you're like, "damn, I wish I thought of something that cool."
Blood and Water, by Patchfire
This is a response to the Severitus Challenge, the criteria of which includes Harry undergoing some gradual physical changes and then finding out that Snape is his father. Obviously, then, this is not Snarry. There is slash in it, and it's more of a fun read than a really involved, dramatic one, but it's a good story, and it does have its dramatic and intense moments, and many of them at that. It's a good story, and another long one.
Freudian Slip, by Arianne
This is one of the few Harry/Ron epics that exists in the fandom. It's still a WIP, but is definitely worth reading. Harry and Ron fall madly in love but Harry's sick. I love this story and have read what's there more times than I can count. It's a must read, for sure. If Harry/Ron squicks you, read it anyway. It's worth it, trust me.
The Courtship of Harry Potter, by Diana Williams
Snarry. Harry comes of age and it's time for him to accept offers for his "mentor," which is based a lot on ancient Greek mentor practices. It's such a good story, and one of the many Snarry classics. It's long and multi-chaptered.
To Hurt, To Heal, by Constant Vigilance
A long one-shot. Draco learns of a planned Death Eater attack on Hogwarts, and warns Harry. Harry, Draco, Neville, Seamus, Ron, and Hermione escape, but get trapped in the Forbidden Forest with a lot of injuries. A very good story, even though Harry and Draco's love comes a bit too quickly, and it's sort of cheesy how everyone forms a couple, but the actual storyline is action-packed and dramatic, and you'll fall in love with Constant Vigilance's Draco.
A Solitary Pleasure, by Luthien
This story is hilarious. It's Snarry, of course. It's so funny; you'll love it. You'll be dying to find out what Snape's secret hobby is, and I'll tell you right now, it's not what you think. Another one of my favorites.
The Mirror of Maybe, by Midnight Blue
Another Snarry story, but quite different. Fudge brings a strange mirror to the Great Hall in which you see the immediate future, but when Harry looks in, something goes wrong and he comes out quite different than he was when he went in. It's very long, and currently, still a WIP, but is a definite must-read. Everyone's characterization is great, and I know that you'll love it.
Draco in Darkness, by Plumeria
Draco gets blinded, and Harry helps him through it. Beautiful H/D.
Dragonweed by Penguin
Harry becomes obsessed and falls in love with Draco Malfoy. And then war comes, and of course, its aftermath. Excellent.
The Familiar, by Resonant
A potion messes up, and Harry gets turned into a frog. Of course, the best place to keep a frog in Hogwarts would be the dungeons, since they're cold and damp. And we all know that Professor Snape lives in the dungeons. Read this; it's excellent. I love it so much.
Compromising Positions, by Jade
Another Snape/Harry. This is blatantly sexual, so if you don't want a story that is full of leather and whips and stuff this isn't for you. It's wonderfully written, though, and definitely a classic. This link is to the first chapter, and you can follow it from there. Jade is amazing.
Fallen, by Jade and Rube
Jade teamed up with Rube for this one, and it's amazing. Harry leaves Hogwarts because he thinks he doesn't have magic anymore, and becomes a prostitute in Muggle London. Who finds him? Sev! Enjoy it, it's great. Angst and drama abound.
Four Letter Words, by breed
Draco has a pornographic novel and the sixth year boys can't wait to hear him read it to them. H/D, excellent. Go read it ASAP.
Payback, by Katie G. Whiz
A romantic H/D PWP. Hermione just keeps interrupting. One of my favorites. It's so believably domestic that it's great.
Stay, by Adrienne
This is a short fluffy Harry/Ron fic. It's just so cute. There's a little bit of Hermione/George, but it just adds to the greatness of this one. It's a mood-lifter.
The Goodness of Their Hearts, by Taratext
Harry is playing for the Chudley Cannons and he's getting disturbing letters, and Malfoy's security company is hired to investigate. It sounds cheesy by the title but it's definitely not. It's very dramatic and also very well-written.
The Devil Will Drag You Under, Part One and Part Two, by Dementor Delta
This is blatant chanslash. It's Harry/Severus, but definitely not squicky chanslash. Yes, Harry's young, but it's explained really well and even though the idea of the ages in this story is weird, it works. Read it pleeeese. Don't let the chan factor turn you away.
The Way of the World, by zionstarfish
Draco is a poor delivery man after the war and he has to make a delivery to Harry on Christmas. Great story.
Clipped Wings, by Theresa Ann Wymer
An AU in which muggles discovered magic and try to destroy all magic. Harry managed to escape the prosecution, and buys Severus as a slave at an auction block to try to give him a better life. This is such an excellent story; the emotions run high, and the plot is very original, as is the connection between Harry and Severus. This is a MUST read. You'll even like Dudley in this story...it must be great for that to happen.
Drawing, by ceresi
You'll think this is crazy, but it's Harry/Dean, and it's fabulous. It's during the events of Order of the Phoenix, and fits in perfectly with how the story goes. It's a sequel to Unwritten Scenes, and it's just excellent. Harry's emotions are perfect, and so is his relationship with Dean. Harry is in the perfect OotP mood in this one...you'll love it. I promise.
All Bets Are Off, by Allegra
This is based on Forty Days, Forty Nights, which I've never seen, but the story is excellent. Harry is the playboy of Hogwarts and has sex ALL the time. Draco bets him that he can't have sex at all for thirty days and nights, and Harry takes him up on the bet. Everyone's putting in wagers-even teachers. It's SO good. You'll love the build up of Harry & Draco's relationship, and then the ending is spectacular. The best part is how hilarious it is without being over the top. Enjoy. :)
Gryffindor Intrigues, by Orphne
Harry comes up with a devious plan to humiliate Malfoy. Hermione fixes it up a bit, and then Ron goes along for the ride, and to take pictures. But something goes wrong! It's SO good. You'll love it. My favorite part is when Ron says, "Silly git" fondly....it's just a very good story. A great H/D.
Learning by Numbers, by Switchknife
This is first Harry/Lupin, then Harry/Snape. I *love* this story. Harry's feelings for Lupin and Snape are both described poignantly and in great detail, and the contrast between them is indicitave of both the personality of each of the men and their individual relationships with Harry. The emotions are so perfectly imaginable that this story feels almost canon. It's a must read.
