Ch. Trinity Gold Rush-Fairwood, NA, OAJ, PT, CD, VCX “Rush” came to me when he was 3 months old and I had no idea of how important he would become to me. He is my special, do-it-all dog. And we’ve learned it all together.

Through the diligent efforts of handler Judy Stachowski, Heartsong Shelties, Rush attained his breed Champion title. With Judy handling him, he won back-to-back majors in Louisville, KY, in March 2001. And little more than a year later he finished his CH title at the Lorain County Kennel Club on August 11, 2002. I’ll always be grateful to Judy for finishing my very first conformation Champion and for the wonderful care she took of him during their travels together. I can’t imagine why Judy refers to him as her “most challenging client.”

In between the conformation shows, we trained for and attained titles in herding and agility. Once Rush became a Champion he had enough points to qualify for the title of Versatility Companion Excellent “VCX”. He recently attained his CD title and we’ll continue to work in obedience.
