Fairview Alliance Church's Senior Pastor and His Family

Our Pastor Dave Smith and his lovely wife Barb and family came to us from Calgary Alberta, via Saskatchewan.

Dave received his Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) at Canadian Theological Seminary, completed his undergraduate studies in Criminology, at Conestoga College in Kitchener, and comes to us with an extensive background in sales and marketing management. Pastor Dave loves people, and is an enthusiastic evangelist, Bible teacher, and dedicated family man.

Barb is a full-time, home schooling mother of nine wonderful and gifted children. Barb has been heavily involved in the home schooling movement, has conducted extensive workshops and conferences, and even appeared several times on television as a home schooling advocate. Barb is also active in the pro-life movement, Real Women of Canada, Focus on the Family, and conducts a variety of workshops and seminars when called upon to do so. Barb is currently working on an undergraduate degree from Athabaska University, and is an avid seamstress and artist.
