The way the long distance attunement works is this. Healing energy knows no boundaries. How many of us have sent healing thoughts, best wishes, prayers to people? This is healing energy. An attunement is the same thing. When we get all caught up in the material matter world we forget that there is energy surrounding us and flowing everywhere.
Reiki is an extraordinary energy that comes from the highest spiritual source. It knows exactly where to go and what to do. It will heal the cause of a problem on whatever level it may exist - body, mind, or spirit.
An attunement to Reiki energy means being connected to the specific Reiki energy. Reiki mean's Universal life force and it surrounds us all the time. But only through an attunement does one become connected and able to use this specific energy in healing.
This is how reiki
differs from healing touch, or therapeutic touch. These two do not have 'attunements'. I think they are all very good healing methods.
So you want to have a long distant attunement? Here�s what we do.
We start by getting to know each other a bit. You the student, sends me some info about yourself, your life, your energy experiences, Anything you feel is relevant for me to know. I in return will answer any question you have about myself as a teacher and about Reiki. I will also send you the beginning materials for a class. Once you've read through it we talk about it a bit, you can ask questions, clarify anything and just talk about it all.
Usually the best medium for that is a chat room or messenger. Then we schedule a time for your 'attunement'.
What happens when we to the attunement?
At the time of the attunement you, the student, would go into a quiet place where you can meditate of just lie down with your eyes closed, undisturbed for about fifteen minutes. During this time I would send the will send the attunement.
Students often feel strange sensations during their attunements: tingling in their hands, or whole body. Sometimes they hear sounds or see colours pictures. This is all normal. Even not feeling anything at all is normal too.
After the attunement, students often say they feel �different� or �strange�. Sometimes a little �fidgety� or �flighty� often �more grounded�. Again all these feeling (and not feeling anything) are normal. If anything occurs that is uncomfortable or scary (which is very very rare) please contact me.
about fifteen minutes, or longer if you decide to mediate for a while it is important you ground yourself fully, before doing anything else. This is covered in the course material. Also having a light snack will help clear out any �flighty� feelings you may be experiencing. Later, when you want to we�ll set up another chat time to talk about the attunement and share our experiences.
Of course, even after you have finished the course you are also welcome to email with questions, comments, concerns and experiences with Reiki energy.
After your attunement I will send you, either over email, or though snail mail your certificate of completion.
