| You find yourself in a large clearing. Trees of all kinds surround you in their never ending longing to reach the sky. The sun strains to pear through the branches and leaves, and manages to do so in patches scattered around the clearing. Roses and a few other flowers, grown across the clearing, adding color to the dominant dark green. Shadows haunt the spaces between the trees, adding spaces for anything to hide in. Over the trees, you can see a range of mountains in the distance. The other trail must lead there... A small creek lies on the other side of the clearing, it's clear water sparkling in the warm sunlight. Small blue and green fish can be seen swimming beneath the surface of the water. A slight breeze dances merrily about, tossing your hair and the green leaves around. You hear a slight rustling in the bushes, and turn quickly around, expecting Iris to pop out of nowhere. Instead, a diffrent fairy walks out into the clearing, stopping a few feet in front of you. You begin to ask a question, but she waves her hand and begins to speak. "Welcome. My name is Briar Rose. Desiree, my friend, has decided to take in a plated dragon from Dragon Mania. Our dragon has grown! He is now a wonderful adult dragon. His name is Drache and he is so darn fun! Desiree has given me the job as caretaker of the new dragon, so it will never be alone. Feel free to look around the place, but try not to disturb anything." Briar Rose smiles and walks away, leaving you alone in the clearing. Walking into the middle of the clearing, you hear a sudden rustling in the bushes. You look to your right and you see a black plated dragon with bright green eyes slithereing among the ferns. You see remains from the dragon's egg lying on the ground. The dragon slithers on towards you, and begins to sniff you. The dragon must be Drache. Drache's eyes are glittering with curiosity. You bend down and scratch him. Drache's eyes close in pleasure, and he rubs against your hand. Once you stop he walks off, looking around at the clearing, never leaving a rock or blade unturned. |
